ok so i bent a connecting rod when i sucked up water into the motor so now i am changing the piston rings since they come in packs of 4 so my problem is i cant get all the rings in but the #1 ring it compresses but wont go into the cylinder all the way this is my problem on piston 1 2 and 3 i got 4 ...

The only place I could see an air leak would be brake booster line or evap line but wouldn't that throw a code for a evap leak. bc I know the pcv line is tight the gasket for the tb it good could it be possible that its leaking on the exhaust manifold side. Ok I unpluged the iac and started the with no problem and idled normal just sitting there I did this after taking the tb apart and cleaned it good I just wanted to check one more time before I but a 179 dollar part.
