D2 also makes a direct fit in the same price ballpark. If you want to spend silly money, call Woodhouse or any of the other SpeedWC teams that ran SRT's; they probably all have parts still in the shop. :)

agree with above... most bodyflex is from torsional motion; front corner to opposite rear corner flex. The fact that a neon is a unibody means it's actually inherently stiffer in the cabin area than a body on frame would be. The big spots of flex that you want to get rid of are from the shock towers...

replaced the pump, thermo, timing belt - would love to have replaced the motor mounts and installed a UDP at the same time. Timing belt and tensioner looked absolutely perfect...shame to replce it really. Waterpump doesn't appear to have failed completely, but the seal around the bearing seems to ha...

credit card, fingernails, etc, etc.... Do a search for "debadging" for some tips that'll work with vinyl removal. the longer the stickers stay on there, the more the paint will fade around it leaving brighter red paint where the vinyl was - in any event, you'll want to buff the paint with some rubbi...

have you considered anodizing? You can even do a decent anodize job at home, but that would be a fsckload of acid to get rid of when you were done...

Anodizing doesn't have to be bright blingbling shiny either and actually might look pretty cool with a beadblasted finish

yeah - I meant the srt4 sticker on the hood/fender... Nothing says I'm lame like announcing the obvious - like putting "Powered by Honda" on an accord or something.

Looks really clean otherwise! 19k's pretty ouch, but it's what it's worth if that helps. Nice, low mileage etc...

clogged heater core; possible but it was just replaced 5k miles ago (barb broke off) and coolant flushed and replaced - car has 41k miles on it. If it was the waterpump, how would coolant flow through the heater core and give you heat? Both parts are cheap so I'll just replace both - hopefully it wo...

but if tuned properly you can actually get better mileage daily driving. ...but not while putting down 500+hp... The new 'vette gets 30+ mpg, but does so by shutting down half the engine and sipping on gas. I couldn't drive something with a decent amount of power and keep my foot out of it....it's ...

yeah - i remember reading about repeated top pillow failures from IPP/BC struts, but IIRC, they were running spring rates way above 400lbs and knowing the audience over at CC, they were being pushed far harder than most of us here would. I've looked at several pictures of failures, and you could as ...

supercharging a 2GN is like the ultimate joke on here... when in fact it's feasable Half the time, the nay saying reads like "hey, look I figured out how to slap a turbo on my car! I'm smart!
