rip off at leschwab!

So, about a week ago I went to Leschwab to replace my inner tie rod, because of loud tapping noise on my driver's side wheel. But, before I explained that I think that the tie rod is bad one of the guys took my car for a drive, well he said it was the tie rod making that noise and it was loose. Okay...

tapping is always there, cornering, accelerating, going down a hill.
when going over a bump front suspension squeaks a little bit, but not really bad.

tie rod question

So, I recently replaced both my front inner tier rods, because of a loud tapping noise coming from the driver's side tire. Tapping is still there but not as loud as before. I was told that probably the caliper is stuck or not working correctly, because whenever I brake there is a squeaking noise com...

Agreed, almost everyone has mustangs, regardless of where you live. And no offense to anyone, but most ford mustang owners are annoying douche bags...At least the many that I know.
So are the neon owners even worse douches.
I will say get the mustang gt!

I don't believe that any body shop would tell you $850 to paint a hood. Nor do I believe they would tell you $450 to paint a hood, unless they really didn't want to do it and wanted you to go away. It takes an hour or so to prep it and a couple hours to paint it plus materials. No more than $200 fr...

Lowest quote I got is from Maaco - $280. But their paint sucks!
Other places I checked charge between $450-$850.

So I tried to remove the side molding and guess what the paint underneath driver's side is black, the other side is the original color. Also the moldings on the passenger side were put on before tha car was sprayed so there's 2 layers of paint and looks really bad so I put them back on. And yeah I k...

fuel filter question

Went to a local store to get one, because my car is sluggish, they said that the fuel filter for the Neon is "not serviceable"
they said to take a look at the map sensor, o2 sensor and the catalyc converter, but is that true?

I will be doing this tomorrow as well, but don't know what the consequences will be though, because my car used to be black back then. So as far as I know the paint under the moldings would be black? I will post up pictures tomorrow.

You will dump SOOOOOOOOOOO much fuel into the engine. It will flood and I wouldn't be surprised if it would actually hydrolock from the fuel. Get 19lb injectors. SRT's are something like 40 or 45lb. :withstupid: 2.0L N/A does not equal 2.4L Turbo.... listen I can put whatever I want to in my car. I...
