I loved my 2002 neon. I had tokico blue struts on it with mopar performance springs. With the 16" wheels and wider tires it handled like a dream. It sucked when it got totaled. Some dude in a nissan frontier hit me from behind. Glad you got your exhaust situation settled. Looking forward to seeing s...

You should look at the magnaflow exhaust if you like the borla. They are very similar set ups. You could also purchase some stock piping from summit racing or jegs and then a mopar performance muffler. The mopar mufflers can be had for around 250.00 if you can find a dealer and talk them down a litt...

I just replaced my heater core last month. $72.00 for the heater core. $400 dollars in labor. This was from a dealer I know and gives me a helluva break on labor too.

My '02 had 2 neon skim keys. My '04 had one ram head key when I got it last year. This thread inspired me to go get a neon key for my '04. My dealer had one in stock so I went and picked it up saturday. $52 dollars tax and all. That also included programing since I only had one key.

Hey guys, Just Got my heater core replaced this past week. I wound up letting the dealer I know and trust do it for me. Talk about labor intensive. I wound up getting the part from autozone. ($69.99) They had to evac the a/c system first. Then they took out the entire steering column; followed by th...

Sounds like your heater core might be leaking. Here's the link to my post, and some of the feedback I got. I was having the same problem with a coolant smell. Turned out it was my heater core. Just got it replaced last week. Stupid heater core. :cussing: http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=47672

We've talked about having to evac the a/c. Do you have to drain the cooling system too? I found some exploded part views on the mopar site. Your idea about having the a/c system evac'ed by the dealer might work if I don't have to drain the cooling system Bill. Might take me all weekend. But I'd figu...

Thanks for all the input guys. I did some searching last night on here and found some of the older posts about the heater core issues. Now that I know thats probably what it is. I found your post Chris. That has discouraged me from trying to tackle this on my own. Especially since you have to discha...

Thats what I was afraid of :cussing: . I have an extended powertrain warranty I bought when i bought the car. I don't know if it will be covered by that. I'm pretty handy with tearing the dash apart. I've had the dash cover removed before on this one and my previous one. Looks like I might get to ta...

Leak behind radio

Hey guys, I have a 2004 sxt. I was working on my radio today and when i pulled everything out; I noticed there was an oily substance coming from somewhere. When you take the radio out theres a duct with a piece of foam behind it. The foam is saturated with the stuff. I got some on my finger and it h...

Have you checked the amp fuses? This is why you always disconnect the battery when hooking up electrical stuff. Psh, working on live circuits is much more exciting. You aren't a man til you've hooked up a 480V 400A piece of equipment hot. Sheeeeeeet if that is what it takes to be a man, I'...

Those bastards. :cussing: I hate people that steal other peoples stuff. No matter what it is. I hope that you get your car back in one piece, and they get what they deserve. Just don't get yourself in trouble for kicking their ass if you find them first.

2003 r/t good transplant prospect

Hey guys, was just surfing on ebay and found this 2003 r/t that was wrecked. looks like it would be a good donor car for someone wanting to do a auto to manual conversion along with a mag head. Considering what you would pay for the parts separately: I don't think the price is all that bad. I wish I...
