Hehe. I remember when i got my neon. I bought it to have some fun with but the things I used to consider fun cost me a lot of money. pegleg burnouts cost me a trans and rat-racing cost me 2 rims, LCA bushings and an alignment. A heavy rirght foot cost me a speeding ticket. loud music cost me 2 door ...

If your slides were greased then I would do what the others suggested and check the lines and/ or fluid. i posted in another thread that crappy, nasty fluid can cause sticking type problems due to the fluid's lubricity being compromised and causing parts to seize together. I replaced the master cyl ...

Sounds almost like a seized caliper piston or caliper slides. If its the slides (The little rods that the caliper rides on), you can take them out and, if they're all rusty or dirty, you might be able to buff them clean and lube them with high temp silicone brake grease. Now if it's the caliper pist...

Break in should consist of an oil change after the first 20 minutes of running time with some cheap bulk oil. In that time, there's a lot of metal shavings building up in the oil pan. After that, run 500-1000 miles and do another bulk oil change and then run it to 3k. At 3k, then you use your synthe...

I think you would have to reinforce the flange above the LCA bushing to be stronger so that the K-Member won't crack and you might have to cut the welds on your pretty new bushing hole and offset it downward another 1/4 of an inch. The way it looks to me is that the LCA with the modified bushing wou...

I'm gonna throw this out there. It'll sound a little wierd but if it sounds like a high pitched, old squeaky door, there's a chance that the outer tie rod ends have gotten rusted inside the ball & socket portion so when you turn the wheel, they squeal really bad. Fords (Like mustangs and crown vics)...

cross rotate the front tires if they're not directional and see if it pulls the other way. If so then you have a bad tire/s. If not, look at the front and rear lower control arm bushings and see if they're good. make sure the inner tie rod is oaky. jack up the car and wiggle the tire side to side. I...

Okay, first thing, DO NOT USE the cheap ass little cheese-dick aftermarket camber bolts. You think you're saving money until one breaks and you need a new strut, hub and bearing assembly and knuckle. Now i don't know where you live but here, there are potholes that'll bend your rims which is also en...

i think im crazy enough 2 try it Check the rear sway-bar bushings first, they could be squeaking...... mine used to do that, white lithium took care of it !!!! Ditto on the lithium grease. that'll help for a while but if the sqeak comes back then it's time to replace them. But this only applies if ...

When you put inner tie rods on it, did you happen to notice if any fluid ran out of the boots when you pulled them off? If so then you will need a rack. have the tires road force balanced and checked for warpage (there shouldn't be much more than factory deviation since you bought new rims). There s...

Hasken_yo - Those taxes are outrageous! Don't take this the wrong way but 9.8% and they couldn't build the arena?!
