Alright well I will definitely check it out then. I almost picked up a Mopar/Borla muffler as a straight up trade for my R/T but I was so busy with school I just couldn't get to it.

Magnaflow camaro? That's what Amit (03_sxt) has and I thought his was completely custom. Hmm. Didn't know it was a new trend. I may look into it now.

-Brad

edit: not like I'm just trying to follow trends lol. But if it has worked for a few people I may look into it and some alternatives.

Deep Throaty Mufflers

Alright well I don't want a fart can or an SRT rear section, but I do want a nice, deep, throaty sounding exhaust. So what are some good mufflers that will give off that kind of a sound? I'm pretty new to mufflers so I don't know what is what. Magnaflow, Flowmaster, all of them are foreign to me. -B...

Ambers are functional. You have to do some rewiring of the MFS but it wasn't hard at all. I have tinted my old taillights but I got sick of the look. The reason I would tint them is because all it takes is a dab of acetone on a cloth and some rubbing to get it off. I tinted and removed my old tailli...

Any suggestions on possible next exterior mods (except my RC car antenna lol)? His 18's look so huge com...

Thanks man. Honestly the pictures don't do Amit's car any justice. My friend thought it was literally a brand new modded car because it was so clean. Mine on the other hand... we won't go there lol. I had taillight trouble that took time away from the wash.

Lol you HAD to drop that bomb on me haha. I didn't do any more driving today because of that so I'm gonna get it fixed tomorrow. I don't think the wire I spliced into was the third brake light, even though the color was right.

Wow got lucky there. I've gotten two warnings for window tint, a warning for tinted taillights, and a fix-it ticket for my right brake not working. But unfortunately I had to take off the taillight tint so they could see the light at the station. You really lucked out cause Ohio cops are usually dic...

Great look though on the ones above.

Probably going to go with a 225/45/18 on these. I thought maybe 215/35 but they are too low-pro for the look I want. Plus a little more tire to fill in my wheel gap wouldn't hurt.

-Brad

p.s. I'm not really going for any JDM label, it's just more of an influence on my style.

Really? Who's trend am I following? I have done virtually nothing to this car to make it follow any trend. I have been planning my JDM/USDM mix for over 6 months now ever since I fell in love with 240sx's and the style that goes with them in my area (look up the ASpec Drift Team). I'm all about clea...

I figured you or anthony would like the style lol.

I searched a while for some good looking bronze rims but I honestly didn't like any of the big name ones like Volk, AME, BBS, etc but this off brand one really caught my eye.

Well I'm going to be painting my stockers over the winter to test the waters on bronze rims on my car. But next summer I may look into these.

Drag DR-19's come in 5x100 and they have (or at least had) some in stock at my local Discount Tire. Those are the wheels I wanted in 18's so bad but now I'm going for smaller rims with bigger tires. JDM dRiFt madNESs in my FWD lol.

Yeah I just saw the Afterburner wheels in a car mag and I remembered this post. I noticed they came in black so that MAY look sick on the cobalt. I didn't look too close at your post and thought they were chrome but now I see they are black. Wheel chop time.
