i took it off with pure willpower and discovered two sheet metal screws hidden under it. spectacular. the pics will be up tomorrow. looking for a hood now. thanks for the ideas.

it is some kind of epoxy. it looks like it is going to peel of the clearcoat. i might just have to repaint the hood. i tried goo gone, but it wont touch the stuff.

my wife purchased the car while i was deployed as a suprise. it was bought in germany but was shipped on a PCS move by the previous owner. US specs with 40k. thanks for the reply

i have a problem. the car i recently purchased has a fake plastic hood scoop and i cant figure out a way to remove it without scratching the paint. any ideas

overseas and missing the US

i am currently living in germany and recently purchased a 2002 neon ACR. it is a great car with alot of potential. this is a great site and i have already learned a load about my new ride. thanks for the info and tech tips.
