Block Heater install?

Hey gang. Haven't posted here in a LOOOOONG time, but figured no better place to go for my latest venture. My car never came with a block heater, but I want to put one in. Preferably, one that goes into the block itself. I haven't seen enough good reviews on the external units that tie into hoses. I...

Rear suspension squeekin like a wood floarboard...

Just something that started happening a few months back. Any time my supsension compressors and decompresses I hear a faint (very faint) squeeking sound like a floor board when stepped on. Koni struts, hotchkis springs and sways, and prothane bushings. Any ideas? Havnt had much time to rip into it s...

^^^ pretty much. If anything, its possibly you will loose a bit of power due to the smoothness of the plastic intake VS the roughness of the cast aluminum. Might look into P+P it before installing if your picky. Though the differance would probably be unnoticed to the butt-dyno....

I used anti-seize on both my installed on 1st and 2nd gen... it not only keeps any heat/friction from binding the aluminum to steel, but it also acts as a lubricant! My 2nd gen went on easily with no added heat. Just tapped it with a rubber mallet in the middle a few times and the bolt caught the re...

Nah, the belts are probably the 2nd hardest part. Im guessing you got the tire off, car jacked, and the sheild off? Yours 1/3 the way there! :D Anyways, the ALT belt is 3 bolts to loosen. First bolt is right next to the stock pulley. It pivots on this bolt... just loosen it a bit. Second bolt is the...

Stock pulley = 5.25lbs
MPx = 1.5lbs

;)

I would take the Unorthodox any day, but as long as money comes into play, you will gain much more per dollar from the MPx.

Dawm, it depends. You say drifting which usualy means oversteer. If your rear bar is stiff as crazy, youll oversteer. Right now, if i change lanes too fast, my back end comes out on me (scared the shit out of me, but its cool!) Adding a larger front bar will give you better handling, but might make ...

Definatly. Those guys are running quite a bit larger on the SRT-4 struts. The koni+srt struts are a great combo. If you want great handling, throw in the Hotchkis springs. If you want great ride quality, throw in the Eibach pro kit.

Beleive it or not, the SRT-4 ACR runs the same strut hight we do. If you mozy on over to the srtforums and go to the auto-X section, somebody will show you how they had to grind away a bit to fit some tires in there. With the SRT-4 struts (regular SRT-4) you will have more clearance. I bought 4 used...

Got an air compressor and any air tools? Butteryfly works awesome... anyways. Just use the air tools. Its hammering action has done numerous neon installs with NO problems. WAY easier than using the 13/16 (or is it 15/16?) spark plug socket wrench and 10mm socket setup.
