Block Heater install?
Hey gang. Haven't posted here in a LOOOOONG time, but figured no better place to go for my latest venture. My car never came with a block heater, but I want to put one in. Preferably, one that goes into the block itself. I haven't seen enough good reviews on the external units that tie into hoses. I...

Rear suspension squeekin like a wood floarboard...

Koni struts, hotchkis springs and sways, and prothane bushings. Any ideas? Havnt had much time to rip into it s...

I used anti-seize on both my installed on 1st and 2nd gen... it not only keeps any heat/friction from binding the aluminum to steel, but it also acts as a lubricant! My 2nd gen went on easily with no added heat. Just tapped it with a rubber mallet in the middle a few times and the bolt caught the re...

Nah, the belts are probably the 2nd hardest part. Im guessing you got the tire off, car jacked, and the sheild off? Yours 1/3 the way there! :D Anyways, the ALT belt is 3 bolts to loosen. First bolt is right next to the stock pulley. It pivots on this bolt... just loosen it a bit. Second bolt is the...

Ah, my kinda person! I am always searching for ways to keep heat transfer from happening. Some say its a waste of time... little do they know :D Check your local home depot for "PlastiDip"... comes in a spray can. will shoot a thin layer of rubber on any surface. I have my whole aluminum intake mani...

nodestiny = I had the stock ACR / RT bars 22mm and 19mm respectively. I had planned on leaving the Hotchkis off till I had time to install my BRAND new ACR struts and my Eibach Sportlines. I've swapped suspensions like four times now. One of my old ACR struts blew just after I installed the Sportli...

I am currently running Eibach Pro Kits, KYB GR-2's, the Hotchkis Units, Energy Suspension, DC and Vibrant Strut Braces The hotchkis was a great differance in handling. The next best thing for me was the Koni inserts. Look into it. The KYB GR-2's have NOTHING on the Koni's. The handling differance i...

i was told adding the rear strut bar adds udnersteer.. not that i even know what it means, but its getting annoying with my rear sliding around =p Understeer is when you "plow". Basicly, as you turn into a corner hard, it starts to go straight instead of into the turn. So your front end isnt grippi...

Dawm, it depends. You say drifting which usualy means oversteer. If your rear bar is stiff as crazy, youll oversteer. Right now, if i change lanes too fast, my back end comes out on me (scared the shit out of me, but its cool!) Adding a larger front bar will give you better handling, but might make ...

Beleive it or not, the SRT-4 ACR runs the same strut hight we do. If you mozy on over to the srtforums and go to the auto-X section, somebody will show you how they had to grind away a bit to fit some tires in there. With the SRT-4 struts (regular SRT-4) you will have more clearance. I bought 4 used...

Mag heads are definatly not easy to come by these days... From all my mods, i drove a friend's SXT with the only mods of resonator box removal and glasspack style muffler... My Mag intake manifold, header, and UDP definatly make a big differance. Just to be warned though, the mag intake isnt exactly...
