Cone area = output

2 12's is always better, even if they a lil underpowered.

Id suggest for $175 range woofers 2 12 " Fi ssd's or maybe Ssa Dcons.

Did you have any goals in mind? Sq or Spl?

Fer sure. I couldnt believe the difference of having tweeters in the pillars, the music is actually coming at you not from a "mystery" zone.

I think generally speaking the higher the power rating of the speaker, the better they are. But theres plenty of door speakers and subwoofers that have low rms ratings and are still as good, if not better than others with higher ratings. For doors i would say 75-100rms is the norm for good speakers,...

I dont claim to know much, but just knowing that when i go to mobile audio stores and i tell them what im running...

I almost bought one a while back. I have no complaints with alpine products..outside of not having the X in a 15.

Ed.Nine.1's are great amps.

You dont have to worry about the stressing the amp, more about having the proper battery/alt to handle the amp.

Theyre subs im not too familiar with but if u want the most out of it get dual 2ohm and wire it down to 1.
