I could have sworn I had this argument way back in the day when I was boosted. I think it was said that body design, and ECU design is what determined the generation. NGC was the determining factor for seperating the 00-02 and 03-05.

Not worth the gains. Spend that $200 somewhere else that would benefit you at the track.

I'm thinking youre going to possibly need a custom manifold perhaps to run that turbo. Take into consideration that you'll need to fit a filter on that thing and from the looks of that design, its going to be sitting close to if not on your shifter cables. It would be best to do a top mounting manif...

Why do you want an external on such low boost is my quesiton. I ran 8-10 psi on an internal for my 60trim. IMHO, no need to run external untill you reach 12+ psi. Depends on the turbo also as well.

Its probably your BOV. Greddys are known to leak FYI. Look up Boost leak tester on youtube. It doesn't cost much to build it with simple parts from your local hardware store. Good luck trying to find it. You can do it.

Simple install. Easy fix. Drill, screw in brass fitting, jb weld, and your done. Takes all of maybe 20 mins. JB cures in 12 to 24 hours.

HKS SSQV version 4. Doesn't leak unless its a knock off. All the new ones are serialize to ensure they aren't rip offs if they need to be rebuilt.

Others I enjoy are ARC, Tial, and Blitz.

Im surprised whoever did your timing belt didn't do the water pump too. Usually you do belt, pump, tensioner, and if ballsy maybe the oil pump to but thats a lil extreme. Took me 2.5 hours from start to finish. You can do it man. You got this.

New Toy

Just picked her up a week ago. Started ordering parts to make her my own. Its a 1990 SE with a full SR swap. Slapping her on the rollers this weekend to get some numbers and see where she stands. You could go with mustang 24lb injectors. Get em in a junkyard. I would stick with a Walboro pump. They're only like a $100. Plenty of fuel. Remember, no fuel...no motor.

It has come to an end.

To all my fellow 2gn.org friends, With great sadness the age of my 03 neon has come to an end. About two weeks ago i was a victim of a car accident executed by a flower truck. He rear ended me while i was stationary pushing me into the car in front of me. The insurance company totalled out the car. ...

I would like to know if there is a way to check to see if the ecu is bad as well. I just replaced the alternator which was code 622. Replaced both cam and crankshaft sensors which were codes 340 and 335. It still won't start. I am going to replace the upstream O2 sensor to hopefully rid the 135 code...
