If you used it on a SOHC head yes. NA DOHC and SRT-4 DOHC heads it will fit the bolt pattern just fine. The NA DOHC head the ports will be a little bigger on the exhaust manifold unless you go with the PT head IIRC.

ATP Turbo and AGP Turbo (both different companies) offer Turbo Chargers with Manifolds for the SRT-4. They come with all of the stuff to install them, Waste Gate, Oil Lines, Down pipe, Turbo (obviously), exhaust manifold, etc.

Yes sir. 35$ for 3 pulls. Not quite sure what would be achieve with me doing a dyno run on a stock 2.0L engine that is in need of a rebuild or replacement with a 2.4L engine. So I will pass on the run unless those in attendance really are desperate to see just how little horsepower a 114,000 mile 2...

I would be interested to hang out with the local Neon crowd even if I am missing a turbo.

Dodge redid the crossmember in the 2004MY Neons and made a sealed version (allegidly). I have yet to confirm this but I will be needing to get one sooner than later because mine is terribly rusted and needs to be replaced.

I pulled the bulb to solve the problem. Never had a trunk light before so I don't need one now.

Nope. Just the FUSE warning light. So I should be good to go with the Dome light bulb.

I don't recall getting that same warning last time I had a bulb burn out in my 2002 Base a few years ago.

Thanks again for the information. One issue down several to go.

So does the FUSE notification go away after replacing the dome light bulb? I think I have one left at my apartment but I do know that the drivers door doesn't quite lock correctly so my problem might be several problems in one. So I am thinking of starting with the dome light bulb first.

Was the trunk light the final root cause of the problem coupled with the battery needing to be charged?

Moving to Kansas City

I will be moving to Kansas City in September and I will be leaving all of my car buddies behind so I will be looking to meet new ones. Anyone in Kansas City hang around these boards anymore?

I have an older used clutch that has been sitting in a box in the garage for a while and I was wondering if it can still be used or will I need to buy a new clutch?

Or if you want to be really slick you can repin the fuel injector pins on the connector to the ECU so it doesn't even look like you did anything.

The intake was worth it in the beginning because there was a definite gain in low end torque but after the portfueler install it didn't fit due to the extra inch added by the plate from the portfueler. I do plan on using that intake again when I do a 2.4L swap in my 2002 Neon.

One guy did use the Stratus intake in a 1st Gen. No rad fans on the back, he used a pusher fan in front somehow. Dave Williams in MO on his 2.4 turbo ATX car that has since been torn apart. Actually I did have a radiator fan but it was pushed all the way to the drivers side. Here is the section of ...

i have a non-SRT 2.4 swapped 2000. there certainly aren't as many resources for this swap, compared to the SRT, but there are some similarities between the two. i learned a lot of engine specific info from the 1st gen guys. a number of them have done 2.4 swaps. Did you have to get a different hood ...

A 1st Gen with a 2.4L can still run with a SOHC computer just fine you will have to tune it with either an SAFC and/or a fuel pressure regulator. Down side is you will not be able to rev higher with the SOHC vs. DOHC ecu. Depending on your application revving might not be what you want to do anyway....

From what I found on Neons.org it sounds very similar to a 1st Gen Neon 2.4L motor swap which I have done so aside from different motor mounts then the 1st Gen the wiring is essentially the same.
