yea not the rear but the middle, i worded it wrong. I found it. Its right below the upper mount embedded in the side. I dont see a way of removing/replacing it without tilting the engine and well, I dont have the manpower to do all that so Im just going to leave it alone.

if you have vibrtation when u first start to turn the wheels, check the cv boot. last thing u want is that thing to snap...its a vibration/popping noise when u turn the wheel right? might wanna get that looked at.

I'm runnin 205/40/17 on factory suspension on my 04sxt.

jus remove the black plastic piece that's across the bottom of the bumper and you can reach the foglight bulb. took me a mere 20 minutes to remove the plastic piece and remove then replace the foglights. no reason to remove the bumper or any other part. its easy as pie.

if the sealant you used was white I could say the burning is from the sealant. I don't know why sealant is recommended to be used because you don't need to glue it down. yea you don't need sealant to hold it down, jus spin the bolts down wit ya hand, then grab ya tool and give it a few more turns till it stops, don't give it too much elbow grease though, jus make it a lil more snug. MAKE SURE U BOLT THEM DOWN IN ORDER. from left to right starting in the top far left...

If you're talking about motor mounts, those are the bolts that are lower that attach the engine to the frame. If those are shot, you might have bigger problems. The torque struts are what I'm talking about. They keep the engine from moving... or try to. The torque struts are the same between neons ...

Honestly, it sounds like a bad idea. With high mileage they should be replaced some time in the near future anyway. Now you're introducing new shorter, stiffer springs onto a already wearing part that is designed to cushion the ride and hard blows from potholes and such. I can't see how it would re...
