I think I'm going update this once a year as long as I own/drive the Neon. The R/T's still going strong as a daily driver with 99K. I bought a set of those slip-on rocker panels from my local panels' distributor. In the next couple of weeks in my spare time I will be installing these. I'll update my progress.

My R/T's still going strong. Only 94k and I'm currently fending off the rocker rot. It's daily driven and I have no plans of getting rid of it. [-(

Rear Bumper Interchangeability

Are all rear bumpers (not the cover) interchangeable on 2 gen Neons? My 03's rear bumper is rotted out and my local junkyard has an 01'.

That might not work since the ECU already has recorded the #4 misfire code. Did you "reset" the computer after switching fuel injectors?

Heck, with those kind of miles it just might be better to replace the entire motor with a lower mileage one than fixing yours (if the timing belt broke). I've seen magnum motors on car-part.com for $350-$600 depending on mileage.

First off, glad to hear you're unhurt. I've seen alot of deer accidents since I live in western Pa, but yours is by far the worst I've ever seen. Count your blessings...yikes.
