Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White
I got that same clear outer timing cover from Zaklee as well. I love the way it looks. It's much better than the nonexistent outer timing cover that I used to run lol. What upper torque strut is that? I don't recognize it. This is totally irrelevant but this comment is exactly 2 years old today lol...

Happy Birthday buddy! Wonder why you don’t get a special thread? Lmao :dontknow: not since 2014! Lol. Once I go the way of Lane Holt I bet I'll get one. Everyone suddenly loves people once they're dead. Lane died? No shit?! Man I thought that was well known info Frank. Yeah, as Jerry mentioned he p...

Jerry was actually messaging me regarding the SKIM issue in this car and I just happened to come across your thread. So the SKIS light is blinking while driving, but no issues.... I assume you have a gray SKIM key? Do you have multiple? If so, does it blink regardless of which key is used?

I didn't install it but they just released a smoked version and I installed that last night. I'll try to get a picture of it.Midnight_Rider wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 9:29 pmIf you decide to install it, please post of pic of your car so we can see what it looks like. I don't mean the cap that is 'hinged' in the door handle pull. I have that. I mean in the arm rest area on the door where you pull the door closed. That screw has a cap over it on both sides. Out of my 03, my sisters, and my bro's 05, none of them have it. Thread resurrection! Does anyone have a pa...

Life's hectic as usual but I just decided to drop in and mention that I picked up one of the newly rereleased clear third brake lights for the neon from MPx. Not sure if I will end up running it or not but figured I may as well buy one since they area available again. https://www.modernperformance.c...

They should have used Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy white. It's a near perfect match for PW1. I love that stuff... The old metal HVAC registers in my house were all a drab color and I wanted to paint them white. They all got a coat of Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy. As for Rustoleum touch up paint... ...

That is awesome! You definitely can't get rid of it now.Midnight_Rider wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 10:25 pmI did buy it new but in 2006- the dealership in Iowa still had it on their lot and had advertised it on autotrader.com. I bought it sight unseen, drove a rental out to Iowa to pick it up and then drove the SRT back home.

See, this is why I'm so glad that I've hung on to the SRT. I will confess that, after the power steering went out during the 2019 Carlisle, I was mad at the car and thought about selling it (I had a potentially serious buyer make a tempting offer on that Sunday so it was good that the title was in ...

It seems that several who showed up never posted here about coming so I had no idea that so many would be there. I honestly had no idea who was going to be there either... well I knew the Canadians wouldn't be there because of the border, but besides that it seemed like it was up in the air on who ...

I see the pics now! Oh yes, I was so crazy about your putting the 300M mirrors on... The pic of you "hugging" your old car- see, you shouldn't have sold it! LOL Congrats on buying the car back. Yeah, I'm going for the Cervinis spoiler once I get around to it. It's one of the last visual mods I want to do. I have definitely considered a C-notch. I'm just not quite willing to do it myself, so I've looked around a bit for local fabricators. I haven't contacted anyone yet, because I'm not mak...

Bought our first house! Super stoked. We closed on June 21st. Super happy! Basically paid for what it appraised at which was $300k. Put 20% down, and got 2.99% interest rate, 30 year conventional loan. Goal is to make bigger payments and pay off in 20 years or less. Can fit 2 cars on one side which...

The truck looks great! I love that generation Dakota and especially in the regular cab, short bed 4x2 configuration. Do you plan to add a Xenon or Cervinis tailgate spoiler like your signature shows? I always liked those. Regarding lowering the rear more, have you considered a bolt in C notch to gai...

Yeah, he promised me it will stay in that climate controlled garage and will basically be a nice weather weekend toy for him. For me it had become a "annual state inspection and Carlisle toy with a hefty side of car insurance". The other 360 days of the year it sat in my sister's garage. I will miss...
