2001 PT Cruiser 2.4 Motor (MFR Date 12/01)

Hey guys. So as some of you may know, I built a 2.4 Turbo motor and ended up spinning two rod bearings and chewed up my crank. I picked up a donor motor today from what was a 2001 PT Cruiser 2.4. However, after looking at the motor, I noticed that the head casting was a different part number then on...

Adam

P.S - That is if I don't have issues at the border... shouldn't be a problem from when I checked in with them...

HELP! Have DRL problem!

Ok, so the girlfriends DRL (Daytime running lamps) don't work on her car. I replaced both DRL relays, swapped the MFS with 2 working ones and even went as far as swapping the gauge cluster out. These need to work before she can get it inspected. So, I've run out of options and am looking for immedi...

Ok, so my girlfriends 04 SX is having a similar problem. Daytime running lamps are making a buzzing sound in the relay (DRL-hi). I removed that relay and lose the lights all together even with the (DRL-low) relay still in. I found this weird because an 03 R/T I'm parting out, the DRLs worked and it ...

Is this recalibrating the needles to ensure they're properly aligned? Mine appear to be off a bit, and it's a nuisance especially for the fuel and rpm one. LMK!

Post #2 My guess is any same year GT Cruiser injectors might match. But they were de tuned from SRT specs. IDK if it was only PCM programming, or if the injectors were down sized too. The following information I retrieved. Shows that the PTGT used the same injector numbers for the same years as the...

Curious... would this work....

Hey, just curious... a buddy of mine is looking to do some upgrades to his 2gn. Anyways, he asked me about what he should do. I replied with, how much do you want to spend?. He's unsure. Anyways, I got thinking and was wondering if this setup would work. My biggest concern is the piston/rod setup. E...

The tone wheel on the crank shaft has a different signature. I'm aware of that, like the highs and lows... correct? NGC (SRT) ECU in a Pre-NGC 2.4....

Hey guys, so just wondering, has anyone ever made an attempt to do this? I ordered MegaSquirt for my 2.4 Turbo swap. I am not looking forward in all the wiring that is involved. I tried looking for a way to make it plug and play like you can on the NGC's. As I was looking, I once again came across t...

So you are running the '00 IAC, thus why you want to use the '00 PCM? You didn't by chance put the '00 PCM in the '01 SKIM equipped car beforehand did you? No I was trying this 2000 ECU in my 2.4 T car. I unplugged the skim module before plugging the ECU in. It started it, but then it just randomly...

With the stock setup the fuel pump and regulator will be fine. I would reccomend that you do the fuel pump rewire. Is it needed? No not at your level, but it will provide room to grow on the stock pump if you upgrade. If you do the rewire don't buy some cheap kit, do it right. My setup is 10ga wire...

Hey, so I was going to be installing a Walbro 255 for my 2.4T setup, however, the one I was after locally got sold.
