Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: 3/07/2019 update

Guess I spoke too soon on the weather. It's back to cold. Maybe another 2 week and wheels will be on. Update on the hood. Decided im too busy to work on the hood so I took it to a bodyshop guy a buddy recommended me and he gave me a price I couldnt say no to. Hood will be ready in about 3 weeks. [em...

Not yet. I didn't put them all on. Just put 1 on for picture purposes. Spring weather is upon us tho, here in Indiana at least. So I might put all 4 on by this coming weekend. Maybe have new full pictures by Sunday night.

Yes can't beat that price. I think they were priced reasonably. They make them in 14s all the way to 19s. Here you go guys. Perfect fitment. No rubbing etc. Got some new spline lug nuts in the same color to match as well. This is all I have for now. In a few weeks once winter is gone they'll go on f...

And here is the big reveal. I love them. Exactly what I wanted. Love the tire thread and look. These are definitely a step up from my old 14" wheels. I probably won't be doing a test fitment until later this coming weekend. 205/45/16 Vision Cross wheels 7" wide rim. Yokohama S. Drive tires https://u...

I have a feeling I won't recognize your car at the next Dayton meet. :) That's right. You'll see me pulling up and ask who the new guy is. Been a while since I seen your progress. So much great progress at that. I like everything I see. 1 thing tho about when you went to the dyno. For them to not have the fan even on it means the guy didn't give a care in the world. Everytime I've seen someone in the dyno the fan is always on there. Ob...

Nice pick-up. Function for the win Ha, right. Who would of thought I'd actually do something worth the word of function. Hood pins are recommended … the hood catch is not as strong as one welded to a steel hood … looks good on your car :gears: Oh, right, I thought those were carbon flyer hoods, not...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: 2/19/2019 update

Too bad it's in rough shape. A carbon hood would look great on that car. Paint matched will still look good, though. Right. I never liked carbon fiber anyways. Not on a hood at least. Now carbon fenders I do love. Which is why I could never see myself paying full price for a hood condition carbon h...

Small update. I was lucky enough to find me a 1gn ipp srt hood. It's carbon fiber but obviously it's had a terrible life. Guy was going to put it on his dirt car. Thank God we saved it from that life. My plans with it are to fix it up because yes it has imperfections. And paint it to match the car. ...

Re: 2003 SRT DD

I did some reading on the SRT Forums and I guess it's really common to booger that lip up. As long as the seal gets pushed in flush, it doesn't leak. I'm not worried about it anymore. I'm more concerned about installing the new seal; it looks like it's going to be a pain. It will indeed be a pain t...

plan on painting that fuel rail cover like black or red? Looks out of place being silver. Could just be the angle but when I first glanced at the picture it looks like someone just layed a flat piece of aluminum over the fuel rail. Could just be the rectangular cutout of it. dig the ACR cutout/deca...

Re: 2003 SRT DD

You didn't have to seperate the strut from the knuckle to change out the axle. Trust me, I've done it dozens of times myself. Next time just make sure the tie rod is off the knuckle and pop the control arm ball joint apart from the knuckle and the entire strut knuckle is free to move as you need. Al...

Wow, a big change from a little over three years ago. I hope that the new owner treats the car well- not like, "it's just a Neon". I think the new owner is treating it right. This is a picture from the new owner who had it posted up on a Facebook page. Seeing as it's in a garage, I believe it will ...

Shiney gauges. You plan on doing your cluster with LED's? And yes the dual is better then the frog eyed ones. Keep your eyes on the road better with them there. You must have a boost leak. You need to book leak test.

What psi were you pushing with the stock intercooler before..?

I know the stock intercooler sucks but not enough to make that big a difference.

I had that pod in one of my old Neons. It made for a bit of a blind spot, but it wasn't terrible. It didn't take long to acclimate to it. I actually like the look of the frog pod better, but I can see how it would block the other gauges a bit. That could get annoying, having to tilt your head to re...
