I've gotten a few things done over the winter. I painted the bay black for a cleaner look. That made me paint the engine silver so it will pop in the bay. Heat is removed, lines are looped. The downpipe, intake and cold side pipe are all wrapped in titanium exhaust wrap. MS is now modded for 44psi w...

Harness reduction

I'm looking to make a custom engine bay harness for my boosted 02 R/T, run on MS2 . I want to clean up the engine bay and the wiring mess seems to be a good place to start. What all can I remove without throwing a CEL? I still have to pass inspection which is already going to suck trying to get arou...

Yeah getting rid of that heavy assed a/c and engine mount would be a great way to start. I'm sure if you fabbed something out of aluminum to put in its place you'de save a few lbs As for the dcr mount I'm pretty sure it eliminates the need for the top and bottom torque struts as its like a bobble o...

Engine bay weight reduction

I'm just trying to figure out if their are additional ways to drop weight and increase space in the engine bay. This is for my boosted 02 R/T. I've already deleted power steering, a/c, and the tensioner. Also heater lines will be coming out over winter. Is there much else I can do? I'm wondering if ...

I Left it on because I swap exhausts constantly. My single exit will be back on in spring.

It's much easier to access with a box manifold lol.

I rarely use the heat. I just wanna get rid of the clutter/weight of the lines/core/controls.

Water pump inlet options?

On my 02 R/T, I'm looking to delete the heat over the winter while the motor is out. Are there any options that don't have a tee on the water pump inlet for heater lines? [/list]

What is this? *Trans*

Transmission started acting up. Making noise and pulling me forward while clutch is disengaged. I pulled the trans and removed the bellhousing (had a crack) and found these in the bottom of the trans along with a 2" wide plastic washer. For record, the clutch had 2 broken springs in it as well. I'm ...

They're not that clean, my camera must be flattering. Lol. I'm wondering if they are 1gn X-rates. If so, that would put my car much lower than I'm shooting for.

What springs are these?

Just bought a set of springs off a local, he said they made his car sit too low and took them off. No pics of how it sat. Can anyone tell me what springs they are?

I unhooked the line to the intake and my catch can is still filling up pretty fast.

Then I did the dreaded compression test. 180 across the board. All holding pressure fine.

What else could be my issue? This is annoying!

I took the time yesterday to install the new manifold. It looks so great, I couldn't be happier with it! I also got everything else back together and took her for a spin. My old manifold was deff a bit restricting. I'm spooling around 4200 now, opposed to 4500 and top end deff pulls harder. http://i...

It just goes to the intake that goes to the turbo, not to the intake manifold. It's mild vacuum. I'm gonna try unhooked it and see what happens.

I'm wondering if it's because I have it hooked to a vacuum source, creating a pressure and sucking oil out

What should my compression numbers be? I have 9.0:1 compression pistons, a decked head and decked block.

Yes, both are sealed. And the check valve works fine. It closes with barely any pressure. And opens easily the other direction.
