Transmission/Speedometer Issues - P0731, P0700
Ok guys, got an interesting one for you. Have tried just about everything and I am at my wits end. Going in to the dealer tomorrow to have them do a diagnostic but just thought I'd check here first to see if anyone had any other clues or thoughts. 2005 SXT, automatic trans, 69,200 miles, have not ma...

one thing I notice here... and it happened to me with some of the cheap covers I found on clearance... look how skinny our gas pedal is.. and the gas pedal cover that I got, which is looking about the same width as the replacement Sparco above... they are wider. The trouble I had is that once on, t...

Glowshift Gauges??
http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/glowshift-performance-racing-gauges.aspx Anyone use these or have any experience? I am looking to replace my A-pillar Volt and Water temp gauges and these look halfway decent and aren't too pricey. I have a set of Cyberdyne Blue LED gauges right now and they have been ...

I got a set of wetsuit fabric bucket seat covers at Autozone for $19.99 a piece and they have worked great so far. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them at shows and people can't believe they were cheap autozone covers.  I can't remember the brand, but it was one of those like 3...

I have seen some cool Transformers(autobot/decepticon) badges you can swap the stock one out with. They have them on revolutionmotorsports.com but if you order anything from there expect it to take 3-4 weeks to arrive no matter what it is. Here's the link. http://www.revolution-motorsports.com/Produ...

The kit from Modern does offer several options for compression so in effect you might get a little fresher than stock, but for the money it's probably impractical unless there is something seriously wrong with your engine. However if you are going to throw something on your car to get un-godly amoun...

be prepared for a CEL with a big TB Negative. I've got a 60mm throttle body, NGC, and no CEL. NGC sounds like a PITA to deal with! I'm so glad I did not get a 03+ I had the 60mm from MPx on my 05' for about 3 days before the CEL and "limp mode" drove me insane. It sounded awesome though with the in...

The speed limit is kinda relax. but all depends on time of day, and day of the week. when i have to go anywhere i drive about 72 MPH i see CHP fly by me without any trouble. CHP pulls over a crazy ass driver doing to many lane changes ( in ca this is a big no no ) The...

I spent 7 hours at the dealership buying a new car once my Ford Explorer finally kicked the bucket. It came down to a Nissan Sentra SE and the SXT. I test drove a Civic, Protege, 3rd gen Eclipse and a couple of other cars. Both the Sentra and Neon were 05' with under 5k miles on them. The Neon looke...

Regardless if the rules are stupid and pointless...they are the rules. This is one of the reasons that I make sure when I put new stuff on the car that it comes with the paperwork or a card showing that it is street legal and meets all the regulations. Fog Lights Coming on at night with Turn Signal??
This just started happening to me the other night and I'm wondering if I don't have a short somewhere or what the problem might be. This only happens with the headlights on. Basically I'll be driving the car at night with the headlights on. Whenever I make a right hand turn or signal right to make a...

I figured it out, just had to pop off the covers on the back of the headlight and then you have to remove the bulbs that come stock on them. The stock bulbs are crap, but once I got the 70 watt bulbs in it they look much better. I just don't like the "yellow" look of the 55s. I realized too that the...

Anyone have a good glass cleaner they can suggest? I have tried just about everything and the Armor All glass wipes I just bought are completely awful. Everything I have tried so far just leaves streaks and big smears eveywhere.

Those numbers wouldn't be accurate... Yes you'd have cooler air flowing into the engine, but as you said it wouldn't be for long. The only real-world application of those numbers would be at the drag strip... and people would look at you strange pouring a thermos under your hood before the waterbox...

http://www.modernperformance.com/depo-projector-headlights-0305-neon-p-1900.html These finally came in tonight so I put them on the car. At least be happy you can use the TB. I got one back when they advertised them as being 2000-05 and really no one on Neons.org had any experience with them. They have sinced changed it to 2000-04. I was all excited when I got it only to find out that it threw a CEL almost every time I got the car ab...
