Heck, less than $0.10 if I remember correctly! Had the same thing happen to me not too long ago and found half of the e-clip in the bottom of the door and matched it up to a new one.

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th issues you list: I had those same things when my [center] motor mount was bad/torn. Others have as well. Once the torque struts (upper and lower motor mounts) go bad, the center mount can go bad quickly. Can't really tell without pulling it. If you are near the 105K mile ma...

1. If I leave my sunglasses in the car, I'll toss 'em there sometimes. Not useful for anything while driving unless you want it to fly off and slam into the doors. 2. For shopping bags, as said. I've got an add-a-circuit that has a power outlet/cig lighter outlet on it with a GPS power cord plugged in, all under the fuse panel. Fits plenty fine. :)

I don't know when exactly the OEM mounts became fluid filled, but I do know, confirmed with Dodge, all new mounts (that supercede all old mount p/n's) are fluid filled. Perhaps a change to address similar issues.

The dome light and trunk light (if equipped) are both inline fuses. :) It will also flash fuse if the battery is going bad.

There's also a difference when the rotors are drilled after they are cast, and actually casting the holes into the rotor. Regardless, I always understood the drilling/slotting to help primarily with cooling; not outgassing.

Anchor mounts are not fluid-filled like the newer OEM ones. I'm betting money that is why people either 1. still have vibration inside after replacing their busted OEM mount with one and 2. get vibration after replacing their non-busted OEM one during a timing belt change. Someone installed an after...

Don't forget that as your car gets older and worth less, it will also take less damage to have the insurance company total it. At some point it's not worth paying full coverage for a car that will be totalled for only $1000 damage. I don't know about other states, but IIRC here in MD liability cove...

Factory tachs are usually only a couple of hundred RPM high, on purpose (an effort to keep people away from the real redline).

$450 is a lot for a tach.
