Does anyone have an idea on when we'd hear back on this? I would like to know which car I have to get ready for this years show, and I can't make a decision until I hear back... My guess is they hold all the applications till the entry deadline date. Once all the possible applications have been sen...

I haven't submitted mine yet as I was waiting for a response from Ed on some questions I had about what the rules are. Yesterday I finally got a response from him. Based on what he said I will be submitting an application within the next few days once I finally decide which Neon I want to enter. :lo...

Well, I've already paid admission- Carlisle Events had their Black Friday sale so I thought that I would save myself some money. #-o Two bad things about parking under a special tent- not being able to keep an eye on my car on Friday and Sunday (I usually try to park as close to the 2GN tent as pos...

Well, if I'll be able to drive my car over the weekend, perhaps I should look into being part of the display after all. :-k Yeah if Ed responds and says were allowed to leave early for the tmi meet it's certainly worth trying to get into the display. You can't beat free admission and shaded parking...

Not sure my car is worthy, not a significant piece of neon history by any means, but we could bring another car down so mine could stay parked. It was featured in modern mopar mag, and was one of the first srt swapped 2gn's, and I think it's pretty clean, so if there was interest, I'd be interested...

Here is the response I received from Ed a couple of weeks ago. We will be able to drive our cars around in the evenings. Now I'm waiting for his response on whether or not we can pull the cars out some what early on Saturday for the tmi meet. If we can then I will certainly be submitting pics of at ...

Thanks for posting a copy of his response. He kind of told me the same thing, but he didn't mention how to get considered for the invitational display. After reading the requirements I don't think I want to be in the invitational display anymore. By the sounds of it you are required to have your car...

2015 Carlisle Special Neon Display

I'm sure some of you already know, but for those who don't know the Carlisle staff, mainly Ed Buczeskie, plan to do something special this coming year to honor the 20th anniversary of the Neon. I have talked to Ed a bit and given him my thoughts. At this point he doesn't really know what exactly the...

Well I'm not sure which car I'll be bringing. I "might" bring the NYG ACR, but I'd really like to bring the Starion. If neither are ready, then the Dart will be there, again. I'd love to run the Starion, or any car for that matter, on the auto-cross course. Well my vote is for the NYG ACR, I have o...

Justin I went with the red squiggles because they matched my car, the blue ones would look good in your car. The stock rams head cloth seats and door inserts were lacking color so I wanted to spice up the interior a bit without going to overboard. I love how it came out, most non Neon people just as...

Thanks guys! ragek23: An early 2gn front end would prob look pretty cool on a SRT-4. Those seats came in red and black 1gn R/T's. dblsg: Yes I swapped in the rear seat and custom wrapped the rear door inserts to match as well. It's the complete package, non Neon people think it came like t...

Bagnut I love the 00-02's look too, I like the separate turn signal housings, it shows the cars 1st gen Neon roots. 03-05's are nice but the 00-02's will always be my favorite 2nd gens.

Nice added touches! Don't see too many 2gn R/T's rolling around in that kind of shape, let alone in flame red. Thanks! You're right it's getting hard to find a nice clean R/T that's why I'm saving mine. There are a lot of people saving SRT's, but in 20 yrs from now I will have one of the ...

I thought I kept my SRT clean (and my SXT as clean as I can). Nope! Nice R/T! Thanks titansxt! In your defense though both your Neons prob get driven more than my R/T. Damn thats a clean car, I like the interior but arent the 1gn seats uncomfortable compared to the 2gns? Yeah those seats are tough! As you could tell from that pic, the Neon they were in was pretty beat, yet the seats looked like they were in great shape. They do feel similar to the squiggle seat. sidepipe I will definitely give that a shot. My prongs are still in great shape so I shouldn't have any p...
