You should be clamping on a 0-5v reference for the map sensor. I'm pretty sure the neon was around 4.9v. If it isnt clamped high enough the stock computer usually will go into limp mode using the cam/crank code to do it. It will go up to 2200rpms then cutout. The o2 shouldn't matter what u set it at...

Your problem with crank and cam are either wiring or you don't have it clamped correctly. The 02 map you can zero out and just adjust the fuel map for daily driving. You shouldnt be in boost for that part of the engine load. if you are then you should probably quit tuning while it still runs. As for...

8psi on a stock engine is doable but keep in mind that your engine has high miles. expect to rebuild down the road. A lot depends on how hard the engine was run and taken care of but I would expect problems eventually with that high of mileage.

I didnt realize people were starting to use the fic on NGC. You should of Pmed me if you had any questions. I've helped out a few members on here with the fic. I went through lots of trial and error with it on my 04 r/t. You do have to unhook the 02 to get control. Your problem sounds like a wiring ...

I started up my recent sxt swap. The engine idles up and down real bad while the dash lights go crazy and the headlights are on by themselves, but really dim. I had the aem fic harness in but i dewired it back to stock. Im wondering if this could be a wiring problem or if the sxt engine wont run off...

If he builds boost off of the 2-step and is on slicks, his mph will go up along with going faster. Slicks is a whole another ball game compared to street tires.

Because I dont want a n/a 2.4, plus I need ms to control it. I just want to make it reliable daily driver for the moment. A ngc 2.4 is hard,to find and expensive compared to a ngc 2.0. I prob could run a older 2.4 with ms but your still talking alot more. All I want at the moment is a healthy engine...

04 sxt 2.0 swap into 04 r/t

I wanna tear out the r/t engine and start building it, due to the rings are starting to fail in cylinder 1 and 2. but I need an engine to keep the car moving. I think you can take the black box to the cruise control and bolt it in from the other side under the windshield wipers and plastic. Someone on here has done it. you dont have to delete but it makes it easier.

take it for a ride and see how the afr's look under normal driving and wot. you will probably have to tune wot where you transition into boost. Since there will be more air there then before.

You could build a blt from any hardware or plumbing store that sells rubber couplers. They work good except they like to swell up and pop off after 15psi. Cost $6 to build one.

I'd say take them out. You no longer need that artificial velocity created by the butterfly valves if you're running a turbo. They're very easy to remove: crack open the manifold and unscrew them from the shaft. Just leave the shaft in (it's thinner than a pencil) since it seals the holes between t...

With the fic you will only have to make minor changes every couple of months once you get dialed in. The timing box your talking once a week after the computer takes control again.
