Re: Random posting

The 97 I’m currently driving is a dohc block, magnum top end and manifolds, fart can style muffler, and a Mopar dohc pcm. When I’m driving to work the flap valve is shut all the time. It’s been getting 33-34 MPG, but at 150 miles a day I want better now. So the iris neon will be a 3.55, magnum bloc...

gomma? Is that the version where you forgot your dentures? :D One of the houses we looked at had a spiral staircase that descended two stories, and not much for a railing. We passed on that one. It was a bizarre creepy ass house anyways. Fixed it for you ... apparently I'm not the only one who has ...

That's what I sold my ACR for in 2010. It had about 60K on it and was basically perfect.

Re: If you could have another car that's not a Neon... which?

Who in the FUCK bought a Neon SRT-4 for great gas mileage ? I did. I figured that I would get mileage less than but similar to the non-turbo Neons I had been driving for years and I haven't been disappointed. Usually get around 27 MPG but have broken 30 many times (especially during the to and from...

Re: If you could have another car that's not a Neon... which?

I cannot for the life of me understand why SRT-4 owners get the gas mileage that they do. How fat did Dodge run the 2.4 turbo from the factory??? My setup which now has close to 60k miles on it gets 31-33mpg on the highway (not using the in-dash navigator - using actual calculations tank to tank). ...

Re: If you could have another car that's not a Neon... which?

Well to replace the Neon would have to replace my "fun" car. So it would have to be a stick shift. I cannot go without having a stickshift car in my stable. That is a tough question. Probably a low mileage C6 GrandSport vette. I like the new GTI's and they respond well to mods it looks like. 300whp...

Re: Random posting

That car I posted is a stateside magnum with a 300c SRT front bumper. I was looking into putting a charger front on a magnum but you have to heavily modify the front end. The 300 front end is a straight swap. And SRT-8 Magnums are still rather expensive. The 2.7 magnums burn oil and people blow the...

Easiest swap would be a 6.1 and a 5 speed auto, but a 6.4/6 speed would be ultra sweet.

Since I own one, I hope he's correct. Unfortunately there's better 4 cylinder turbocharged cars
being produced now, which also affects the market for the SRT-4's. My son has a 2017 Lincoln
MKZ, which is bigger, more comfortable, handles and performs well.
