when i was in Mineral Wells, TX i was surprised at the amount of firearms 'normal' people have but i never experienced unsafe or threatened by them. Guns don't really impress me; it's the crazy in someone's eyes that scares me and not only when (s)he's looking through a crosshair! All in all i am ve...

I actually didn't realize that they sold American pickup trucks like that over there. If the Neon is considered a mid-size sedan, what do they think of cars like the BMW 7-series and other cars that large? Are they uncommon? Well yeah but usually the dealer only imports the smaller pickup trucks (1...

Regarding hatchbacks, I'd say, at least from what I've seen in my life, the Golf/Rabbit was and is still very popular here, so the Europeans at least got that right. Well space is more of an issue here. :P My brother has a Ford F150 heavy duty dual cab and he can never fit in just one parking spot....

Is the old school beetle a sixer? yes, and RWD too but no V6/V8 version (standard, that is  ) The 80's isn't a great era for American cars ... try to find something from the 60's or 70's yup that is pre 1986 so they're definitely a good option! Not sure though if i stay with the Dodge fami...

see my sig.. I'm getting a company car and it's going to be too expensive for me to keep my car :( Here the only expense to keep a car that's already paid for, is the mandatory insurance. Insurance companies classify me as both young and reckless and combined with the weight and power class...

Oh yeah forgot to answer the question. Grammar technicalities aside, I think the riciest mod has to be a fake blow off valve. The fact that those even exist saddens me. And also up there would be hubcaps with spinners on them. you mean the turbo whistle? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td8...

wow, that´s a lot. And people complain about taxes here... It's even worse: Cars in NL are roughly 25% more expensive than in Germany due to additional taxes based on mileage of the car. Pre-emptive environment tax so to say  A brand new VW Golf 1.6 diesel with a price of EUR 20.000,- in Ger...

funny build but definitely a more honest deal than in NL. Basically if you get a company care here the government sees it as additional income and you have to pay tax over the extra income. So cars are divided into three categories according to CO2 exhaust: 14%, 20% and 25%. The percentage is for ca...

maybe i was a little unclear, so here's the deal. When i go company car i get to choose: 1) pay tax but can drive the car unlimited miles. 2) not pay tax but limited to 500 miles A YEAR for personal use. Additional tax for option 1 would be about EUR 200,- a month. Keeping my car costs EUR 100,- jus...

Will definitely keep that in mind!! i've never been in that part of Germany before and from what i heard it's a beautiful area. Well from what i have heard the traders buy Neons here for EUR 400,- so if you offer that price i would be happy to drive it to you for the exchange :) Have to figure out t...

Woud you be interested in another parts donor? 2001 LE, all panels are free of damage. Motor and gearbox (MT) are ok. The car has 203000 km under its wheels. Wheel suspension front right needs TLC and probably new rubbers. Neon will be brought back to near-stock but some parts will remain, such as u...

i hate it the Dodge Dart will not be sold in NL :( Alfa Romeo vehicles aren't sold there? http://www.alfaromeo.it/it/#/modelli/giulietta yeah, i even think there are more AR here than in the US (since it's an italian brand) but that doesn't mean the Dart is going to be sold here.. It's a pretty sat...
