@NiteHawk, what mobo are you running and where do you have the pc at? I thought of running wires from the trunk to and lcd in the dash (along with a usb hub in the console) Do you have a picture of your skin somewhere?

I've been looking in to the project and am on mpr3car all the time! A Carputer could run ems as well as nav, phone, obo, could be used to run gauges, wifi, dvd player, push sound to system, act as a head unit, onstar integration.... There are a lot of simplistic approaches to modding cars/computers ...
