My son and I will be driving out in his '02 ACR. Is good that it's a bit later this year, aside from obvious reasons. I should be back from my Easter trip to Texas the weekend before.

Unfortunately, I can't make it. I'll be in TX at my 30th year class reunion.

Mr Kontas can act as my agent, if any deals are to be made, and if he's willing.

Wait, did I say 30th???

About 10%, maybe 15%. Curious..do you have any issues getting into 5th/Reverse? Asking because the stop on the gate arm is distance sensitive. If you can't move the rod far enough towards the passenger side, you won't be able to engage 5/R. Raising the upper sub-assembly up lessens that travel dista...

So, in a nut shell, if I want to run the '03+ bearings, I should upgrade to the longer stub halfshafts, correct? To run the wider bearings, you need knuckles, hubs, bearings, and CV shafts (axles). Not worth it really, just get the 33mm bearings and be happy. I am already happy, so I will just get ...

Front wheel bearing question

Can I run '03+ front wheel bearings in my '01, without changing any other parts for them to fit (axels, knuckles, etc)? Please let me know by email or PM - I would like to upgrade to the larger bearing, if possible, w/out added expense. I did search, but couldn't find anything on the subject... :( c...

VIN Decoding

Where can I find it? I did search, but got only one offsite reference that wasn't individual VIN specific. Looking for something like what was posted on the org years back for 1gns - sort of a breakdown of what every letter and number means. Main reason is that my ins company is charging me R/T rate...

If you can get the Hurst bottom pcs, do so, as it will allow you to run the Hurst rod. You will lose some shortness of your cut-rod setup, though, but gain the rod stops. Personally, I would re-asemble the PT shifter with your cut rod, using the spacer, x-over arm, and Hurst aluminum housing (w/the ...

*update*

All is good. Turns out it was the trunk light staying on, but not all the time (was drawing 600ma). Would come on by itself, and turn off by itself, all at random. Weird... Took the wire off of the trunk latch, and it stopped doing it, so I guess I'll grab a latch next trip to the salvage yard. Oh, ...

"FUSE" flashing at startup/battery drain

2001 ACR w/ac, has factory am/fm 6 disc changer. When I get it started, the dash makes a tone, and "FUSE" flashes on the gage cluster. Battery won't hold a charge (have had 2 different batteries in car). Ever since I re-installed the radio/cd player, this has been happening. What is causing the FUSE...
