Ive tried entering all the irrelevant information that i have and I keep getting back vague numbers that make it impossible to compare the avg rate of fuel consumption of my current tank of gas with ...

since you cannot verify the trans is good, there should at least be evidence on the rear cover (rtv etc) that is been apart for "rebuild". you should see a NEW TOB and NEW thick clutch, but its still a risk that it doesn't grind. you should be able to see the LSD if an axle shaft is out, in other wo...

its either the relay, low pressure switch (you apparently have enough freon if the air is cold), high pressure switch, or the switch in the cabin. a) swap the relay with a known working one such as the horn relay. b) find the low pressure switch on the canister on the passenger side of the firewall....

16" is really sparse for finding wide high performance tires. You're really limited by the spring perch of the strut which puts you at about 24.5" max diameter tire, so 225/45/16 yields exactly 2 options from tirerack, and realistically i would not DD the r1r because of cost/wear. http://www.tirerac...

Re: a/c line

The line mechanically should be no big deal to change, just be sure to install new O rings when it's changed out. This is not really a job for the average home mechanic. Once the system has been open to the air, a vacuum needs to be pulled on the system before new R-134a is put in. The air in the s...

pretty sure ALL SRT's FSB are 24mm. the acr RSB is 19mm vs 17 for the regular SRT. Really the only difference between the ACR is small diameter tires, regular neon strut dimensions, 19mm RSB, seats with harness cutouts, and the door badge that says ACR. of that list the seats are the only thing i wo...

During the flush proceedure, drop the pan and filter and magnet and clean and replace it all. There's no other way. that was what i was meaning by and run it till it pumps "clean". Though after a filter change you may not be able to see the difference. drop pan, change filter, fill it up, then flus...

Re: Doing a ONE HUNDRED PERCENT tranny fluid flush & fil

1. Run the engine at idle with the ATX in Neutral with the cooler lines unhooked, so fluid comes out as I pour fresh fluid in. thats essentially how i flush the power steering. keep pouring until it comes out clean. What do you mean you haven't flushed your p/S yet? That should get the old fluid ou...
