Eh, "coming through" would have been shipping what he ordered in a timely fashion. At this point I'm more like a delayed refund, a small step above ripping him off.

Sorry Jeff, I messed up and forgot about your order. Got busy with lots of stuff and fucked this up. I'll be refunding you in the near future. I'll be able to sell the swap stuff and trans elsewhere no problem, so I'm not worried about that. I didn't get any emails from you nor Gramps, musta gotten ...

If you use the t850 driveplate and starter, it should work. Bolt pattern and splines are same. If your clutch is non modular, you'll be sol as the starter teeth are part of the flywheel.

Another thing that causes issues is the throwout/clutch release fork. It wears where it rides against the throwout bearing (cast iron on stainless steel) and reduces clutch travel, and it disengages less. This causes issues with shifting of course and prematurely wears out fibrides (mainly 3rd, most...

Just under 3 weeks away! I've done a lot of cleaning/remodeling of shop (more to do) and found quite a bit of stuff I'll have laid out for cheap that's been sitting for quite some time. Can't wait for everyone to come.

I gotta clutch pedal setup and clutch cables from 2000 neon for sale, 100 shipped takes both. Also have 2000 mtx pcm and gauge cluster. Another hundred for those. Shifter (might be short throw) and cables here too. Get it all for 300 shipped. Then you'd just need trans (which I have lots of), and mo...

im pretty sure they are the same other than a few of the sensors are different. If you aren't 100% sure, don't offer misinformation. They are 99% the same except one sensor, yes. Not needed. Once the TOB is installed, it always rides against the clutch fingers and is snug against the fork since the clutch cable/slave cylinder puts some pressure against the fork towards the clutch. For install only.

Well your car likely has a 3.55 final drive ratio, and the pt cruiser will have a 3.94 ratio. On the backside of the trans behind the driver's side tire is a steel tag bolted to the trans at the top of the black steel cover. Trans part number is on the top and will tell you what gears are in it. On ...

They couldn't have put an engine from a 2003 in it. Wheel bearings from 2001 and 03 should be the same.

Any pt cruiser or eclipse/talon/avenger with 420a and 5 speed trans will work. All the same.

There are 0 ball bearings in the T-350, except for the 2 sealed bearings behind the rear cover and it'd be extremely catastrophic failure if one of those were to loose a ball.

It's a ball from the synchronizer assembly.

Yup that's the part number. It's a later 3.55 with .81 5th gear. Pretty much what I guessed. Odds are it came with ATF+4 like they switched to in the later years to save money. It's not really that great of a fluid for the transmissions and I've seen quite a few problems with the ATF filled transmis...

Odds are you have a 3.55. But you can get the part number off of the trans. It's behind the driver's side tire on the end of the trans, may need to remove some plastic covers to see it. On a silver tag thats bolted to end of trans. Post it up, I can look up what gears it has. Your car doesn't have a...

That'd be a lot of oil coming from the trans if there's no crack. Sitting there, no oil is up top. It's all sitting in bottom half of trans.Check fluid levels and see which one Iis low. Engine oil, trans fluis, brake fluid. Clean it off with brake clean and paper towels, and go from there.

First verify if it's an engine leak or transmission leak. Which one is low on oil? Check trans by turning tires to right and pulling plug above driver's side axle and seeing if oil is to bottom of the hole.

And brake fluid too. Can be leak from master cylinder area.

But if you put a t350 against a 2.4, you can use any clutch designed for a Neon, 2.0 or 2.4. They clutch has no idea what engine it's on. The flexplate is the same for the 2 engines, as is the bellhousing bolt pattern.
