When I bought my neon in 2005 for 3k The insurance was like 2750 for full coverage and I just couldn't afford it, so I've never had it. This was my second car since I had been driving (18 when I bought it). Personally if I were to get another neon then I still wouldn't get full coverage on it, altho...

Hooking them up behind the headunit will make life much easier for you when you do swap the radio for an aftetmarket one... You should be hooking it up behind the head unit but attach the actual wires to the rear speaker outputs behind the radio. (as stated by Caraudioholic, this is going to make y...

If you are only getting static when the radio is off then there are two possible problems. Is the model number of your FM direct adapter XMFM1? 1. Your FM direct adapter is broken 2. Its not hooked up properly From what I can tell it looks like the female side of the FM direct adapter is not hooked ...

Hey, glad to see you are looking to add a sub, it is going to make a world of difference. Nice choice on equipment btw, I have the same setup... As far as the RCA connections, these are going to be plugged into a line out converter, which I recommended hooking up behind the radio (incase you ever de...

Mine currently looks like crap. I would almost say that fiberglassing is required. I got in there with a sawsall and cut all the plastic on the top and bottom, you have to be careful not to hit the vents or cut any of the wiring harnesses. Then I made a template on the bezel and cut that out, I left...

Is there a difference between the head of a 2002 RT and a Base model 2001? Reason I ask is that I may try to buy a 2002 RT thats for sale locally but he says that the head has been milled, I don't know how much but I am feeling cautious of this cuz I don't want any problems down the road. Currently ...

To be honest I don't know because i've never used a neon with air and looked for that. I don't think it is any slower then the one's with air because it is just taking air from outside and pumping it inside which should then equalize the humidity and clear it up. My car clears the fog about as fast ...

Cellphone/mp3 mount
Just finished my cellphone mount (which works amazingly with a antenna delete if you have the iheart radio app). I think its a good place holder since my car doesn't have a/c and it was wasted space prior to this... http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc430/dabuhone/DSC01506.jpg Its on a full swivel...

Sounds good, glad you found the problem. The antenna wires are easily replaced. They connect to the outside at the passenger kick panel inside the car, so you could probably just head over to a junk yard and get a new one. hardest thing is prolly gonna be taking out the glove box (if you even have t...

It is possible, but that was the point of testing the voltage drop when your HID turn on. If this dropped to like 8.9 volts for even a slit second that would be the cause of the issue. You could try to re run the acc constant and ground wires and this may solve the problem but its possible that it w...

Ok those voltages look good (a little high for the car not running but thats ok). If you have an after-market stereo in there I would question the ground. If your radio is not grounded properly and is grounded through the antenna then it could be close enough to the headlight ground to be causing a ...

Need some more info; Is the car running? What other electronics are on? After-market or factory radio? It sounds like your radio is doing a low voltage shut off. If you have a multi meter then check the batteries voltage when you turn the lights on and see if it drops below 9ish volts. If it does th...
