i blew the bellows tube off. and while we were looking at that we figured out why cylinder one was misfiring and knocking. the IM gasket is shot. air was leaking out of the side so the cylinder wasnt getting any air

all the time. not just with the clutch in.

i love my neon but im very temped to get rid of it. just lost my job and cant afford to deal with the issues. well here's the new problem.... driving along and all of a sudden i hear a BANG and i push the clutch in and it redlines. so i shut it off and pull over. give it a minute and start it. start...

im looking for the little foam pieces that go between the rear window and the tail lights that are like spacers for the trunk. i remember seeing a thread a while back about these but cant find it for the life of me.

ok heres the deal. not a happy camper. just put $650 to get the LCA's tie rods and front sway replaced. now when I go over 40 the whole car shakes. its coming from the rear though. currently no sway on there but i dont think it would affect it THAT bad. any ideas? im supposed to have a 3.5 hour trip...

went to advanced auto today and picked up new lower control arms and outer tie rod ends. hopefully that will fix the crazy knocking while coasting

so when i push the clutch in.... all i hear is a really loud CLICK CLICK CLUNK... idk what to do...

Real small update but better than nothing.

Got the coilovers installed.
Put on some srt rims
And ordered srt seats

It's finally out of storage and back in front of the house where she belongs

Well I tried again today. Grinded for about a hour then got sick of it and gave up. Got about 1/3 of the way through. Fml

So get a dremel. Cut the top how? And use a chisel to finish the job?
