Once y'all open up the headlamps, you will be able to customize them any which way you want. For example, you can see my FX-R retro where I custom painted the bezels the same color as the car, along with the circular portion of the shrouds that surrounds the projector lens - and blacked out the rest...

Well, as some of you may have heard, I am returning Charlotte (temporarily) back to Kelly (the orig. owner) to drive around in as I purchased a new car recently. It's a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe, Graphite Gray on Black heated leather, fully loaded, and was at 21,560 miles when I bought her! :)...

Okay, so now I am stumped. I went out and checked the fuses and relays in the engine compartment and here is what I found: There is not one code thrown. The fuses are all intact and are receiving power (used multimeter to verify). All of the relays are the same, so I swapped the Starter relay with a...

Yea, I agree it's probably overkill, and to be honest on most days I start it probably 2 minutes before I'm walking out the door. When I say cold start, I mean that it's been sitting at least for a day. If I just hop in and drive, it NEVER drives nice and smooth until it does warm up some - the revs...

Thank GOODNESS for remote start!!
So, how fun is this... Yesterday, I'm going over my buddy's house to hang out for a while so while I'm inside, I remote start the car since it had been sitting all day (I always like to give a 5-10 min warmup from a cold start). I hop in the car, drive over my bud's house about 1/2 hr away, and all ...

I would suggest checking out HIDP that is devoted solely for retrofitting. There is a University section that you can study all sorts of retro's to get ideas on how you would like to do your own. All of my retrofits are also on there. G'luck

Let me just say...I LOVE these bulbs!!!!!!! Even right out of the package they are much brighter, whiter, sharper and wider than the Morimoto bulbs. I even noticed that the little bit of vibration I had over street signs with the Mori bulbs is now hardly noticeable. They even seem like they seat a l...

My CBI's just arrived today from the UK! I can't wait to put one in tonight do some comparison shots with the Mori 35W 4,300K. What if you do the shroud and just the inside of the bezel where the turn signal bulb sits to even it out? IMHO, I dunno if the color-match white is gonna do it...I'm trying to think of different combos that you might like...? D'you get your brother to fix your phone? Send me a pic of them with just...

This is why I'm glad my sister opt'd out of the sunroof package when she bought Charlotte. They're nice to have but can cause way too many expensive problems later on down the road...which I've experienced with my other cars lol Check your motor's 12V supply with a multi, it may be on its way out. A...

Well, based on the links you provided, you are looking at the Morimoto Mini D2S projectors? These are different than the H1's and are not mounted as easily - so be careful if you are new to retrofitting and are not up for the challange. If you are, that's great, and IMHO I would then look more into ...

Your best bet is to start with a replacement pair of the DEPO headlamps. I have done 4 retro's now, all of them with the DEPO's, and I have never had any trouble opening them up. As far as the DEPO Projector housings go...I'm not sure what they use to seal them - if they use the same butyl, possibly...

@sxxxt: All products came from TRS - their prices are all posted online. I think roughly for the projectors, shrouds, new D2S bulbs (existing were H1's)...it cost me about $200? I then opted to use my cheap VVME ballasts for my fog light retrofit I am currently painting / designing (it will nicely c...
