I would suggest checking out HIDP that is devoted solely for retrofitting. There is a University section that you can study all sorts of retro's to get ideas on how you would like to do your own. All of my retrofits are also on there. G'luck

What if you do the shroud and just the inside of the bezel where the turn signal bulb sits to even it out? Well, based on the links you provided, you are looking at the Morimoto Mini D2S projectors? These are different than the H1's and are not mounted as easily - so be careful if you are new to retrofitting and are not up for the challange. If you are, that's great, and IMHO I would then look more into ...

Your best bet is to start with a replacement pair of the DEPO headlamps. I have done 4 retro's now, all of them with the DEPO's, and I have never had any trouble opening them up. As far as the DEPO Projector housings go...I'm not sure what they use to seal them - if they use the same butyl, possibly...
