Private mechanic in/around Raleigh NC?

Hello,
Raleigh, NC & surrounding.

Does anyone know good a part-time/private mechanic? (Plan to get struts changed in my car with my parts. Not on my neon by my camry)

I used know know one who operated in his home garage, well equipped and reasonably priced. But he no longer does repair work.

Thx

So I have small leak code for almost a 6 now on my 04 SE. Not the gas cap.

Are there ANY hoses I need to check by dropping the gas tank? The other day I was searching for something in the truck and I got faint smell of gas.

Can I drop the tank without disconnecting the fuel line etc?

On my 04 Neon, I had a p0440 last year, changed the NVLD (with a dorman unit from amazon) it was good for last 8 months or so.

Now that it's starting to get cold here in NC, p0456 is cropping up. It once went off after I re-fueled. Then it's back on.... Any thoughts?

on my 04 neon se, this p0456 shows up if I drive hard. Last week I red lined the motor touching 6 to 7K rpm couple of times... Next day morning, greeted with P0456. I suppose at higher revs, there is more vacuum? causing a greater chance of a leak? Well I was driving with quarter tank of gas or low...

Yes it does look like that...

But I thought on an "SE", there was no security/anti-theft etc...

I have two such keys. Yesterday, I used the other one I hadn't used for a while.... I think that was the issue.

But the same key works now. Perhaps it's learned the key now.

P0513 and a light flashing... Help

2004 dodge neon SE. 2 years ago, I change the instrument cluster with a white face one with tach from a 2000 Neon ES. I drove to a store, parked. Came back out after 10 minutes and tried to start... it started but one of the circular light (which is on only when key ON) on the cluster was flashing ....

This is factory alloys on my other car. 2003 camry. A month or so ago, I washed and waxed my car. I used eagle spray & wipe wax, liquid that you just spray on and wipe. I use that on the painted body and had no issues... But I think I sprayed some on the rims and perhaps forgot to wipe... Now I am l...

Dodge dealer oil change special.

04 Neon SE.

I get these oil change specials from my local dodge/Chrysler dealer for 19.99.

I usually do oil changes myself and steer clear of stealerships, but 19.99 seems a OK price for 3K OCI?

Better seat covers - options?

04 Neon SE.

I find the stock seat cover (black color) fabric very plain, cheap and boring. What are my options? I am not looking at replacing the seats or doing expensive stuff.

Did 2gn SXT's come with better fabric seat covers?

Or are there any aftermarket seat covers that will fit like OEM?

thx

Only reason I thought about OEM, is so that I can avoid an alignment. Aftermarkets seem to be different length.

Did you narrow down your power steering leak? I too have a similar leak and changing the pressure sensor didn't seem to help.....

outer tie rod end. moog versus OEM

04 Neon Se I was planning to change the outer tie rod ends. They are original at 121K miles. I assume that if I get Mopar OEM ones as opposed to Moog, I don't have to loosen the lock nut, can easily count the turns and avoid an alignment? Are the OEM ones good? I see pair of OEM ones for $72 incl sh...
