I'm glad you like the car. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I definately had mixed emotions about selling it, but I'm confident that it's gone to good home and it'll continue to be taken care of. For everyone else here's a few pics until he can post his own. :) http://i266.photobucket.com/albu...

Is the Cruze that bad? A downgrade from a Cobalt to me is a Cavalier, and those are pretty much garbage. Or do you mean from a performance standpoint?

Plus the CVT trans sucked all the life out of it. Right there! If you have trouble sleeping at night, buy a car with a CVT and go for a cruise before bed. My brother's Altima was just as bad with the CVT in it. I've driven Camrys that were more exciting. Unfortunately I don't think they're going aw...

My brother had a Caliber up until a couple months ago. Hated it. Constant problems with tie rods and balljoints. I've learned to expect that from the Dodge trucks, but not the cars. Plus the CVT trans sucked all the life out of it. It was totally unejoyable to drive that car. It basically felt like ...

My .02: Get rid of those headlights and over the winter make yourself some 00-02 retrofits that compliment your color scheme (i.e. black with a blue ring around the projector). Get rid of the mesh grille in the front either by painting it black, getting black mesh or deleting it entirely. Oh and......

I think it was only a 2001 option, at least here in the states. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The car these came from was a 2001, Motorsports Edition also.

I thought about putting them in my car, but with everything being so black, I just don't think I'd end up liking it. The chrome handles might look out of place. The only thing in my interior that's not black is the radio surround that's that dark "carbon fiber" wannabee patternand the gauges. I thin...

They are, but the hub center is smaller than ours. And the offset is like 48 iirc.

You won't find one of those anymore, called surge brakes and they are illegal now They are not illegal everywhere, and not for all uses. I believe they are illegal for commercial use, but not for light and medium duty. As I stated earlier, I used a U-Haul trailer this year that had this type of bra...

If you can find one there is a trailer (u-haul had them) the trailers have built in braking systems that are connected to the tongue of the trailer. When the car brakes the trailer pushes on a hitch which hits a switch and causes the trailer to break. when the car lets off the brake and pulls away ...

I've seen tow ratings from 1200lbs to 2000lbs. I think you could do it, but be careful with the tongue weight, your springs really aren't going to take a lot of that. I'd also go real easy pulling out with it, being a manual and not plan to really use 5th gear. Other than that I don't see an issue d...

12.5 Gallon tank :) Bingo, all models. Topping off is indeed a bad idea. Here's why: OEM's build a small amount of extra space into the fuel tanks for vapor expansion. Usually 10% of the total capacity. If you overfill the tank, and the vapors expand to take up more space than there is empty space,...

I don't approve of those "oil change reminders" because all they do is keep a counter... we've had so many people coming in when it hits 0% and they've gone 10,000 on a 3,000 mile oil change with no oil left in their engine, all sludged up, and wondering what they did wrong. This is why we have sti...

^The current drain interval for most major companies is 5000-7500, the latter being for the latest models. Pretty much all new Ford vehicles are 7,500 now, save a few specialty cars/trucks. I believe the reminders are mainly influenced by both mileage and drive cycles, depending on the vehicle, som...
