Excellent project. Thought about building one of these myself awhile back. The problem that I ran into was that the trailer must be unhooked from the tow vehicle in order to lower. That sucks for multiple reasons outside of laziness of unhooking. Definatley interested and will follow this to see wha...

This sounds like the throwout bearing fork is worn and causing throw out bearing chatter. Fork wear is pretty common in these.

Take a 1/2" deep well socket. Place over the valve stem and hit with a hammer. Should compress the spring and the shock will pop the keepers. Just be careful things will come back at you as quick as you hit it.

This doesn't solve reassembly though.

You obviously underestimate the strength of a unibody car and over estimate the strength of pipe when force is applied along its axis and forced to bend.

If you concerned with safety don't buy a neon.

I would go T3 much more options should you decide to expand down the road. With the srt mani theres only certain options and none really worth the money.

Ok so your goals are can def be achieved with a 60 tb. Remember a larger tb in turn reduces air velocity entering the plenum, this can be good or bad depends on your setup.

Just dont buy a bigger tb because you think you need it, put that money somewhere else more useful.

I agree with this entirely and just want to be clear the only reason i suggested ngc ecu was because of the ability to run a srt ecu and tuning advantages of it. But if you can not tune it yourself then your looking at a large amount to tune the engine.
