The curb weight of a neon (googled) is 2567 for an 01 which is what i have. I also googled the curb weight of an R53 mini and it is 2315. Has anyone thought about yanking the supercharged 2.0 out of a R53 mini cooper and putting it in our cars. Im pretty big on the mini side now as i own and 09 S. I wonder if when i do this i would be the first?

I know this hasnt been mentioned, but I also own a 2009 Mini Cooper S....you may want to test drive one of those. Mini dealers have no qualms about it usually. The thing is a go cart with a turbo haha. Also If you wanted, the Mini R53...which is the 2005 or older models have the same 2.0 as our cars...

I didnt initially want the srt skirts but i bought two other sets that didnt fit, and then i just got smart and bought the srt skirt. mine broke as well, but instead of ordering new hardwar i ran to the hardware store and got stainless steel self tapers...idk how good that idea was but they are still holding like a champ and have had some serious abuse

i have the massive motor mounts...i will agree with everyone else...while you get more vibration they are worth the performance...if your really scared of vibration just tick it in nuetral when your stopped.

my blinkers dont work sometimes but if i push the flashers, and then turn the flashers off usually the blinkers will work then.

I have a set of BC's if you want to drop it springs are fine, but if you want performance go with coilovers you wont regret it
