I need to replace my struts on my 2002 rt and have read about people that put 1st gen springs on. What do they do for the ride height?

Would an STX rear strut fit the RT minus the strut bar tab?? Is the spring perch height the same?

I am going to the bone yard to pick up some "new" rear struts for my 02 RT. Do they need to come from another RT or will any neon do??
