The sway bar bushings are really easy, they shouldn't charge extra for those. You can get the energy suspension bushings at autozone, that's where I got my front end link bushings and universal rear end links. Part #'s are listed in the sticky: http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=21124 Thanks bro,...

I think they're all the same. Those control arms are way overpriced though, They are $40 on rock auto, so about $120 with bushings. I'd guess $50 to the bushings pressed in, so that's half of moderns price before shipping. I think $110 sounds about right to do the bushings, I'd pay that to avoid th...

Get prothanes and you don't need a press or anything. If you don't like that idea Modern sells complete new arms with prothane bushings in them. And do the endlinks at the same time, your already gonna have them apart. Ok, I found a place that will do them for quite cheap. And I called modern and t...

Alright, thanks bro. I am gonna stop by a few smaller shops today and see what they say. I am sure my end links need replacing too, but I will worry about that later on. I think I could probably do the sway bar bushings myself.

Another Bushing Thread...

Ok, so I am sure these kind of questions have been asked a million times. I looked thru the first few pages and didnt see my exact situation, so I figure I will shoot away. I just took my car in to get an alignment, and of course my control arm bushings are bad. They want $320 just to install OEM st...

I got the prothane kit from Modern when I got my bc coilovers and had them all installed at the same time. Took the shop 16 hours to do the bushings, coilovers, and the alignment. This was a lot longer than I expected and they only charged me for 9 hours. I don't think they were working very fast o...

those look like shorty endlinks, if you're going with stock ride height you want regular ones. Also you'll only need to replace the rear ones. That's IF you have a rear sway bar... I do not have a rear one :( Though, now that I am changing my struts, cant I get one? I remember someone saying I had ...

Alright cool. Well after I looked at everything, it almost seems as tho it is best just to get some Monroe quick struts or something similar. Then I dont have to buy strut mounts and everything separately. Anyone have an idea how the springs that come with them ride? Should be very similar to OEM, n...

Ok guys... So I am just going to put some new struts on, I can deal with the springs. If I had more money I would replace both, but since the cheapest set of springs/struts is around $600, I will pass. My car is old, and I dont wanna dump too much more $$$ into it. So I am thinking of going with the...

Ok, so I am running SRT wheels on my 03 SE. Not too found of the stance. Looking into purchasing some spacers. What spacers/studs do you recommend and how wide should I get? Of course I want just about as wide as I can fit without rubbing. Links would be very appreciated, but I am more than willing ...

Alternator Issue, Need HELP ASAP!

Ok guys, so I was doing my PT Cruiser alt swap and made a huge mistake. My power wire that I added ended up grounding out on the catalytic converter. i ran a 4G straight from my PTNA alternator to the battery. all you need is a ring terminal on both ends of the cable. just make sure you ziptie the cable out of the way of the exhaust system..... Ok, but if I am not mistaken, dont we have a special plug, that goes from the alt, to the starter? Whe...

Ok, so I am being somewhat lazy, and honestly have not searched the whole site, but I did search around the How To section and did not find the info. Ksport Springs, the real deal?

So I think I am going to lower my car, with some KYB Struts and possibly some Ksport springs. For $125 off of eBay, are they worth it. My concern is not aggressive drop, but more for handling and I dont want to fly through struts. Does anyone have experience with them? Thanks for any input... If not...

Dodge no longer sells those brackets if i recall correctly. So if not, you will need new struts. Most people use Tokico HP struts since they are stiffer for lowered applications. Most any aftermarket strut should have the tabs you need. KYB gr2, monroe, etc. Ok, thanks. I will see what I can find, ...
