I'm located in Milwaukee. and the few shops around here charge between $70-150 just for diagnostics, which is outrageous to me so that's why I came on here to narrow down the problem 1st since this site has helped me plenty in the past. a trans guy I know came in from out of town and lifted it to lo...

tcm won't allow 05 neon to shift out of 1st
My speedometer started acting up about a 2 weeks ago. I went to get it diagnosed at autozone yesterday because the engine light came on. TCM threw two codes: p0700 (transaxle malfunction) & p0720 (output speed sensor). I replaced the sensor & it worked fine until I started driving back home from dow...

New to car audio...powering speakers with amp??
So I blew out my rear stock speakers and I have just decided to upgrade all four speakers. I decided to go with Pioneer since they have never seemed to fail me in the past. I've been reading up on how to power speakers by amplifier and I've learned that RMS power is what I should be looking for....t...

I reset it the day I took it to emissions and it still failed but since then the light hasn't come back on so I'm hoping that did the trick. But I didn't know there was another description of the same code. Thanks for the help ;D But if I ever do need to replace either o2 sensors, is it difficult to...

P2096-fuel too lean
I have a 2005 neon and the light came on. The only code that's showing up is p2096-post catalyst fuel trim too lean(fuel contamination). This only happened after I put some Lucas fuel injection cleaner in, I don't know if that's the reason the car threw a code but how can I go about fixing this. Do ...

How easy it is to change brakes?
I've read a few how-to's online and it seems easy considering it only requires a few tools and some common sense so honestly, for a person who has never done it and has read online how to do it, will it be easy or should i have someone with knowledge on how to change them have them teach me first or...

Part Number Request: Cupholder light
Does anyone know the specific size bulb for the light that goes above the cupholders? And is that called the "ashtray" light? These might sound like dumb questions but i was just wondering. Thanx

i'm new to the whole "mod" scene and i have no mechanical experience whatsoever and i was wondering if there are any great tuner shops (if thats what they're called) that will help me work on the car and such. i'm only 17 so i don't have the necessary equipment and knowledge to even try to modify th...
