Thank you guys, I ordered the above stuff, and installed them today.
Everything fits perfectly, and no antenna adapter was necessary.

The new head unit sounds good, but I have to get used to its operation.
I loved the old one's simplicity :)

So thanks again for the advice.

Thanks, I've seen this Usa Spec thingy but it's so expensive (especially with shipping, VAT, taxes to Hungary) that I came to a decision: I'll replace my stock head unit to a JVC KD-X50BTE I think, I'll need an In-dash Receiver Kit , and a connetor kit Sorry for the foreign links, but I want to make...

iPhone + stock stereo AUX question

I would like to have the music from my iPhone to come trough my stock head unit and up to this point I used a casette adapter - and I did not love it. Now I am looking for a better solution. My current setup is a 'casette only' head unit and the 12 CD changer, and a Tomtom car kit. Is there anything...

Yeah, it's quite possible. It was raining all weekend.
But how could that be soaked/leaking?

How can I prevent that?

Some dirty water leaked from it today...

This one –although doesn't look the same as the original– fits perfectly.

Many thanks for the help!

The door lock rod clip was broken and I glued it.
It was ok for a week or two but then it eventually fell apart.
Now possibly the rod itself fell out from the hole of the inner opening handle.

I thought it will be openable at least from the outside, but I was wrong.

How do I open the door? :)

Door part broken needs a fix

I accidentally broke a small plastic part in the front right door: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_WWk47J1znM/UI3G80iJfWI/AAAAAAAAAgA/ezlnQZKiAkI/s320/photo.jpeg This part holds the bar which opens the door. So now its impossible to open the door both from the inside or outside... Is there a rep...

The rubber tube-thingy (in which the cables go to the rear door) was a little warped, so it didn't seal perfectly.
I hope it will be ok from now on.

Yes just the driver side, and just the part which is inside the pillar.
No sunroof.
How do I remove the pillar cover?

Wet seatbelt after heavy rain

Autumn is here again.
Sometimes after very heavy rains my seatbelt is damp.
Not much, I can live with it (happened 2 or 3 times in 3 years) and it dries quite fast, but it makes me curious.
Everything else is dry inside.
Any ideas what to check?

Yes, exactly.
The original suspect (trans mount) was in good condition, but I replaced each mount, because all the other ones were in quite bad shape.
Unfortunately it did not resolve the problem...

I failed to mention that it occurs usually when I press the gas, if I let it off, it goes away. And I recently changed the wheels and tires, so that's not the problem. (I also had the wheel issue earlier and it feels totally different) Yeah, I don't think a bad trans mount by itself would make the w...

Tranny mount?

My 2001 Neon recently began to shake around 90 km/h (55 mph). I'm sure it's not the wheels because this shaking is not on the steering wheel but the whole font of the car. Could this be because of the transmission mount? (someone said that it could be) The tranny is automatic. Any helpful ideas what...

Does anyone know a good European online parts store?
As I live in Hungary the shipping from the US usually costs more than the parts themselves.

A few days ago I noticed that my horn does not sound. Fuse seems ok in the Power Distribution Center.
I think the alarm is on the same horn, and it works.

Any ideas?

After a week the Check Engine lamp went off, which means (as far as I know) that the sensor passed in three consecutive trips.
Should I replace it anyway or can I wait for another fail?

Is it safe to drive the car with the engine code P0139? (HO2S Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Should I repair it ASAP, or is it worth trying to reset it?
Could it cause more/bigger problems?

Hi from Hungary

Hi All,

My name is Lajos Kondor, and I have a 2001 Chrysler Neon LX since 2009, and I love it.
I live in Budapest, Hungary, I use my car for everyday purposes, so I don't do much modding, but I try to keep my ride in top shape.
