Re: Street Truck

good to hear the stud is easy to get to. wish you the best of luck with that. Yeah that pinstripe is very subtle. It would bother me though. Brings back memories of cars that had pinstripes on the side as a dealer option to mark up the price hahaha. Most of them were very goofy.

Re: Street Truck

can't really see it in the first picture due to the glare. the pinstripe. Usually always a good idea to put a new master and slave in after a new clutch install. I hear it so often that a new clutch really wears out an old slave and time and time again a new slave/master has to be installed after a ...

Re: Random posting

Nice, the NGK's are OEM on these Acuras. Only run NGK's in the Neon too. Here is the video of the knock offs. Craziness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr9J3eQk-kE&t=2s

Re: Random posting

nice wheel and tire setup jerry. Always helps in the winter. Hope everyone is doing well this holiday season. Lots of craziness going on it seems like. Changed the plugs on the acura tl 3.5l. I did this because I was having a bucking with slight acceleration. So I pulled an easy one out and the gap ...

Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White

I ended up getting all my money back from him and he even gave me a bit extra b/c he isn't too bright with math. :) Not much going on with the Neon. Still drive it on nice days. I try not to drive it to work as much as I used to. Added a SRT badge that I bought a year or so ago. Was going to put it ...

Re: Street Truck

Ouch what a headache! Was a new Mopar Master and Slave put in too with the clutch install? Is it like a Neon with a shift fork and pivot ball? Was that all replaced? Shift linkage all good, cables and bushings? Weird that the shop says they didn't notice anything wrong with it. You should drive it w...

Makes sense about it peeling or crack. He already got it back according to USPS. He said, "I'll check and inspect when I get home" That was 10 hours ago  He better not be pulling some BS with me and say its all messed up or something or I am going to file a PayPal claim immediately.

Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White

It is a shame :( no idea whey they put sealant under it. So that was another nail in the coffin with my "pretty" cover that I received damaged to return it. "that will rear its head down the road" What do you mean by that? I was actually thinking about grinding it down so it was flat, but that is st...

thanks man I like to post a lot of pictures on here and post little stories. Will be nice to go back on in the future as long as this site stays up. Re: Street Truck

Hopefully all goes well withj the clutch job and it shifts like new. Its nice having a shop take care of a jjob like that,. Don't have to lift a finger and since the price is right, might as well! Eveyrone seems to be buying new cars like crazy I noticed! I think car market prices or going to tank n...

Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White

I passed on the Caliber SRT-4. He sold it for $3500. Not really bummed. Just needed a lot of work and it seems like a lot of Caliber SRT-4s are ticking time bombs. The fact this one had a big wheel stocker on it and a canned tune for a LONG time had me worried a bit. Just a random shot of my car get...

Re: Midnight_Rider's progress log

Thanks. I just spoke with Chase Bank and they are sending a dispute form in the mail. Too bad since my card cycles on Tuesday and then interest will begin to accumulate if I don't pay the towing fee. Do what my brother does and move your credit to an interest free card. He does that all the time an...

Re: Street Truck

Looks like a nice little truck. Odd I was thinking about getting an old Dodge truck the other day b4 seeing this log... And to lower it too. Sick of seeing all these lifted trucks with UGLY wheels rolling all over the place out here. I think it would be fun to have a lowered Ram/Dakota. Has hell fro...

Re: Midnight_Rider's progress log

^Exactly. Everything should be paid for in my opinion, even the tow. You saw on my log how my front fascia was flexing when they towed my neon out of the garage. Luckily nothing was damaged. Just 2 boards would of fixed that. I need to get some cheap boards and have them in the back of my Neon, just...

Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White

Well at least it turned out well. Maybe some internal tooth lockwashers on the pawns. It wouldn't take away from the appearance. Not sure what the mileage would be for changing the timing chain on the World engines. My mom's 2007 has way more than 127,000 on it. I'm betting they can go 200,000 mile...
