My last set up was the stage 2 hahn turbo kit. afr was around 11.7 again controlled by the splitsec box. It controlled 4 extra injectors for the added fuel I had the FTC-1 to retard the timing. I had around 12 psi and it made 220 whp to the wheels but the r/t pcm was fighting everystep of the way. (...

I have a srt-4 pcm swap in my 03 sohc 2.0 R/t. More expensive than megasquirt but you can pass inspection without problems.

Its worth the 200 dollars to be able to switch back to stock ecu if you need/want to pass inspection. If that is a problem for you.

A fully custom tune can be done by a cmr tuner who bought the software to do it. Costs thousands of dollars. You can also do some basic changes with the predator.

What is your goal? Maybe it would give us a better idea what you are looking for.

i would go with the predator too. Depending what you are going to do with it. If you just want to throw on the 93 octane tune and forget about it the predator is the better bet. Thats because you can buy one cheaper (~$200 or less). I just threw my custom tune on and now its sitting in the passenger...

The DS can work on a 2.0L engine but you need the srt-4 ecu, engine bay harness, and a few extra things. Talk to nighthawk (matt) and he will help you. He worked on my 2.0 turboed and I made 325whp on my 2.0L. Pulls like a champ!!

short answer is no if you just want to plug and play

long answer is... it is possible... but the 03 has a different crank trigger, the crank sensor is on front in the 03+ rather than the back in the 95-02

also the cam magnet is different but could be changed.

hope it helps

Alright I have a new question. I am about to take out my "butterfly" valves. I'm just going to unscrew them and leave the rod in place. Since I am still using the split-sec portfueler as my piggyback. Will I need to retune my car once I take them out? I ask because the piggyback puts me into open lo...

I just came across this. The only part i was interested in was the magnum intake. It has one dyno graph of the intake with the secondaries closed and one open. Now this is all N/A so the results will be different from a boosted car but... Having the secondaries open all the time does give ultimately...

That might be true if the valves were to work with the turbo but its not. Once the turbo is spooled up, both valves should be open to maximize airflow regardless of rpm range

Just to make everything clear. At idle/cruising/ anything below WOT regardless of rpm the butterflies are closed It is only at WOT (pedal to the floor) when the butterflies will move/open. And only at WOT will the butterflies move at different rpm ranges. let me know if this is the general consensus.

indy is hard to install. They are not just plug and play.

But what about the butterfly valves below WOT. What are they doing then?

What do they do (butterfly valves) when you are below WOT?
