I am in the middle of changing the timing belt and I can get #2 and #4 spark plugs out but #1 and #3 are tight and there seems to be oil leakage around all of them.

Also, one of the tubes is sticking way up out of the rocker cover.

What does this mean?

Looking at Home Depot's website (because I'm trying to figure out what I need before I call someone to borrow their car), it looks like a 1/8" e-clip will fit? Does this sound like a viable solution? OK I got the eBay header today and I've found that there's no gasket for the square flange... is this a common size? Is it the same as the OE gasket? I'm not waiting for the seller to replace it..And what's the deal, it looks like the holes in the header flange are threaded?

I'm probably being paranoid but all the extra heat/exhaust gas coming from the leaking joint shouldn't hurt anything right? Like the steering rack for example?

Are you talking about the bolts holding the manifold on or the four studs on the square flange?

Yeah... regarding those bolts I think I'm going to start with applications of PB blaster a few days before the parts get here. Hopefully a few heat and cool cycles of the exhaust with a nice coating of penetrating oil will make them ease out better... I hope.

Yeah I'd probably have had to use up all my jb weld to close that opening anyway... Anyone know what a stock muffler sounds like with a header and no cat in front of it? Like I said, I've never had my rear brakes apart yet, but if they're like all the drums I've seen before, they should, like you said, automatically adjust. The star adjustment wheel (on rear drum cars) should have a small lever that moves it when you apply the brakes in reverse.

Going out on a limb here, but those directions should be exactly the same, aside from the location of the oval plug for the rear drum cars, too. Assuming the neon's rear drums are set up the same way as most every car I've ever seen.

If it's like Ohio, it varies by your specific locale. Near Cleveland, C-bus and Cinci, they have e-check, but not where I live.

I like the face of the wheels, but the 'rivets' which I'm assuming are fake, are too much. I've never liked rims with fake rivets/bolts in 'em.
