Yeah, I was in panic mode when I posted initially. After some diligence (2 turns out, 1 turn back in) I got the plugs out, the threads were BONE DRY. I swore I thought I put anti-sieze on them... It looks like a VC gasket and tube seals are in my future along with new plugs, these were white/tan wit...

Tight spark plugs
I am in the middle of changing the timing belt and I can get #2 and #4 spark plugs out but #1 and #3 are tight and there seems to be oil leakage around all of them.
Also, one of the tubes is sticking way up out of the rocker cover.
What does this mean?

Looking at Home Depot's website (because I'm trying to figure out what I need before I call someone to borrow their car), it looks like a 1/8" e-clip will fit? Does this sound like a viable solution? At least until the replacement ones get here? http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/1000/a7...

Booger Bushings broken, replacement bushing won't stay on...
One of the trans-side booger bushings on my '05 failed today. Found only one parts store in a 50 mile radius that had these supposed replacement bushings (Dorman 14044) I got that home to find that I had to trim one edge of the larger bushing to get it to fit down into the shift cable. Then, after 5...

Alright, figured out that the stock OE gasket is a fit... Only have the old manifold and cat out so far... rusty bolts and heat shields be damned! A couple questions... as of right now I can only account for 7 of the 8 manifold bolts, these easy to replace? Also I noticed that the hot leaking exhaus...

Yeah I'd probably have had to use up all my jb weld to close that opening anyway... Anyone know what a stock muffler sounds like with a header and no cat in front of it? I'm guessing it'd have to be a little louder than stock huh? Besides... there's nothing wrong with my stock muffler besides it's p...

That sounds like good news then, Ive been eyeing up a header and downpipe on ebay thats a little under a $100. That should be easier than dealing with those rusted flange studs and everything. Anyone have any experience with these headers? I didnt see a brand name, I will post a link later when im n...

My exhaust is leaking badly behind the square flange but before the catalytic converter... I'm gathering from my reading on here that this area of the exhaust was at one time a flex joint. It's coming apart probably due to the fact that I've broken and repaired (read: coat hangers) several exhaust h...

A cheap clutch kit... please?
I'm up to my eyeballs in part numbers and prices and nothing seems to be anywhere near reasonable. Story: my car turned over 111k a while ago and the clutch, after a couple days of slipping, went completely out (seems like neutral in all gears). I've been pricing clutch kits everywhere and it's at l...

WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!!?? Do I owe someone money or somethin'? I've been spending a lot of time (and money) working on my T-bird. Well, finally only 2 WEEKS late, I have my pics. Nothing special. I do like how mine and Mike's car look like a before & after. Only sad because mine is the 'before'. http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o12/Ifixyawata/MikeSideView2.jpg http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o12/Ifixyawata/MikeSideView.jp...
