My '01 ES was a great car. Never left my wife stranded in the 11 years she drove it putting 102k on it. I drive it for about a year after that and put another 12k on it before an axle and the crossmember gave out. First real problem we ever had with the car

I live in Carol Stream. Just this past Sunday I bought a '98 R/T coupe and about to send my '01 ES off to a junkyard after I pull a few more parts off that I want to salvage

Things could have turned out much worse, that's for sure. No accidents or injuries, only victim is the car.

But replacing the k-member is going to be too expensive and not worth it

Car "died" this morning

Was on my way to work this morning in my '01. Traffic was slowiń down so I applied the brakes to slow down too and the car pulled to the right when I did, but then I could feel the front passenger side lock up. Eased off the brakes and that didn't do anything. Tried to pull over into the left turn l...

Algonquin isn't too far. I was just up at my parents' house this past weekend in Crystal Lake.

Maybe I'll try the purple power. I have something called Super Clean (?) that I can try too

Maybe I didn't specify enough. There's a lot of carbon buildup in the header and I'm looking to clean that out before installing. I'm not worried about the exterior, it looked to me

Cleaning magnum header?

I just got a magnum header in the mail yesterday, traded an SRT gauge cluster for it. The header has a lot of buildup and I want to clean it before installing. Anything I should or shouldn't use?

"Hood is done. My project was to make a Viper ACR style hood for my SRT4. Since no one makes it I had to make it myself. On top of that I've never made anything out of fiberglass before this. Alot of hand sculpting went in to this and took over a year of working in my spare time. Here's the picture'...
