i have the tach cluster. it has a warning light and a bong thats sounds at a certain point. Im just wondering if its a known number that when it happens there is like 1.5 gallons left or whatever.

so in theory if i jump 30 to 87 it should be a direct line to the compressor and power it up as long as the knob is turned to A/C? So if no voltage at the connector on the compressor the path back is to the relay correct? The book has it to a diode first then the relay but on the side of the relay it has a diagram as if the diode is built into the relay. Is that how it works? 30 87 86 85 87a which should have voltage?

clutch not engaging. Its not locked up cause i can freely spin it by hand.

i have some freon but it only took a little bit to get it up to full.

Is there a was to force the clutch to engage and bypass everything else in the system?

I havent gotten to figure mine out yet but i sit in stop and go traffic 2x a day. a 27 miles commute which is minimum 45 min and could be 1.5 hours+ so i gotta be on the low end of the overall mpg.

a few more tanks and ill report how much i averaged over like 2,000 miles of NYC driving
