Welcome back to Neons. The R/T is a nice choice, between your plain Jane Plymouth and an SRT4. They have a nice rev range and decent pull for a NA. Good luck with your new toy! Thanks. I'm loving this car so far but I really wish it pulled a little harder. There are a lot of steep hills in my area ...

I have the painted Pacesetter longtubes on my 95 Camaro and it took about a half mile before the paint burned off. It looked like my car was on fire. ALWAYS get stainless or ceramic coated unless you like rusty headers. Good luck.

I really hope that's not the problem. Out of curiosity how much is a set of springs for a Magnum motor?

I didn't change the coilpack. I have no misfire at all unless above 5k at WOT. I may try Seafoam and see if that helps. The car runs great other than this problem.

Ok. I do have to change the upper and lower right mounts. They're both shot. If the rain holds off I'll check a few more things. Thanks for the ideas everyone.

Looking again I noticed my passenger side motor mount is ripped. Would that cause this problem if the engine was vibrating/moving around at high rpm?

I'm going to check again for intake/exhaust leaks but I didn't find any last week.

I don't have an UDP. I was looking into them until I read that they cause problems on some years. If this is a common problem what is the solution?

Sidepipe87, I'm behind the church across from Big Ross Hoagies. North Versailles cops are very well known to be dicks. They really gave me a hard time over my lifted Jeep but never bothered me in my cammed 95 Z28 that sounds like a dragster. Lol. I might be interested in just the wing if you'll sepe...

Thanks for the offer. I'm just looking at simple mods until I get back to work. I just picked up a Mustang throttle body but can't find an adapter that works. It looks like I'm going to get some metal and make one. If you know of any other mods I can do for cheap I'm definitely interested. I'm right...

Thanks for the welcomes guys! I'm from North Versailles, PA. Very close to Monroeville. I'm not getting notifications that you guys replied to my thread so I just now noticed. Sorry for the delay. My wife is slowly starting to like my new Neon. She stopped smiling after I said I want to do an SRT4 s...

Hello everyone. I've been building cars and working as a mechanic for 15 years. I was always a Chevy guy and built many Camaros and Trans-Ams. I still own a 1995 Z28 pushing near 500 hp. I'm sure not many of you care about that part of my car history. Lol. About 8 years ago I was looking for a fun w...
