And for the love of god, replace the rear engine mount while it's all apart. It seems like it always fails soon after people do their timing belt. For me the water pump failed right after paying $500 to have the rear engine mount and trans mount replaced...a week after to be exact....then when repl...

I put it off and I wish I hadn't, in the end it cost me almost $800, and that's doing it myself.

Left rear wheel cylinder been leaking for a while. Finally ordered brakes, wheel cylinders, and the hardware kit and changed them today (still gotta bleed tomorrow). When I pulled the drum off I was like  . The drum was also ate up a little so I brought it and the passenger side to be turned ...

Been talking with the wife. Gonna fix the couple things that's wrong with the neon and she's going to use it to drive to work instead of our gas guzzler Yukon xl. Then I won't lose all the money I've put into it these past nine months. This is the dart I'm getting. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/...

Well it's official, I've been given the green light from the dealership. Just have to wait two weeks for the Silver 2013 Dart SXT to be transferred from Austin, TX, to Baton Rouge, LA. Depending on what they give me for the neon I might hang on to it as a spare vehicle.

Nah, not worried about performance. I drive like an old man most of the time lol, until somebody in front of me is driving less than the speed limit then I get very annoyed and skinny pedal gets to kiss the floor. I'm always trying to up my average mpg per tank so I tank it easy most of the time. Cu...

Dead IAC?

My idle has been crazy on my neon since January when I bought it. Sitting at a red light sometimes rpms would be at 800 and randomly drop to 600, the other day I drilled a hole in the throttle plate, starting small and working my way up to a 5/32 if I remember correctly. Well it seemed to raise idle...

Is it just me? lol Just fixed the vibration/steering wheel shimmy in my neon. As soon as I fixed it (two new tires) my radiator starts leaking...fml...it'll be getting replaced next week when I get home from work. It's not a bad leak...I thought about pouring in some stop leak...but....not sure if I...

Outer cv boot question

How hard is it to change? Mine has been leaking and I need to do something about it while the cv joint is still good.

I've changed one on my four wheeler before I'd imagine it can't be too much different.

In my auto I consistently get 32-34mpg per tank, last tank was 33.4. Best tank ever was 36.5. My neon only see's highway, no city driving. As far as miles per tank I think I get around 320. I usually fill up when I get down to a quarter tank.
