Worn rear control arms

Hi guys. I just finally got the car repaired of the rear main seal and timing kit some days ago. I got the suspension system checks and they told me that rear control arms are worn out. Mostly in the drivers side. As I they no longer in OEM and probably would be expensive as f*ck , I just looked in ...

Re: Where the hell this oil leak is coming from?

Sorry for the delay, guys. No leaks for the Cam Sensor nor the valve cover: https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipOI-8mufcDUBGNSoEytRHCtMkzfAiel1IKvhKdW Unfortunately is more than obvious that the rear main seal is broken and this will be expensive as f*ck to repair. Where the hell this oil leak is coming from?

Hi there. I was on the shop the other day for a brake pads change for ceramic ones. They didn't have stock for the semi metallic that I used to choose. Beneath my car I found this oil leak. I am not very sure where is coming from. Oil pan gasket was replaced 2 years ago. I just switched to 10W30 oil...

Dealing with this terminal.

Hi there. I was keeping my car in a garage because of some remodelling on my house for a couple weeks. When I went to pick it up the battery was dead. I got some jumpers and drove home yesterday. While I was jumping the battery and the oil I noticed A LOT of sulphate in the battery terminals, posts ...

Re: Gates Timing belt kit and aftermarket parts thoughts and opinions?

Thanks for the reply, Bill !! So the Gates pump sucks? If so, I was looking the OEM and costs $67.00 USD or so. It is matter to get a better price in the stealership Did you experience premature wearing in the belt tensioner in Gates? Thinking in getting a Gates racing (blue one) belt for this proce...

Gates Timing belt kit and aftermarket parts thoughts and opinions?

Hi there guys! Last time my car got changed timing kit was 4 years ago. About 65000 kms had gone by since 2014 and in that occasion I bought a Mopar kit that one of my friends did not need. The reason to get it changed again is because I have a intermittent hissing belt/tensioner noise when the engi...

Thanks a lot Thomas. I will check ground connections and wires. I think this problem is caused in a minor way for terminals or wires corroding.

Hopefully someone can give me another tip to correct the problem before thinking is the alternator and rebuild it.
