Thanks for the information. Cluster was really replaced, but maybe other way round, LX into R/T. Unfortunately I don't know from which car the new cluster is, but it worked properly for some time after I bought the car. By the way, cluster is from older model, probably 2001, because it has a white b...

Always thought that this indicator is purely for handbrake, but it is for all brakes.
Checked brake fluid level, it's OK. So something else. Will check handbrake switch on Saturday.

How handbrake is connected with brake fluid level? I thought its purely mechanical on Dodge Neon. Am I wrong? OK. This is a full story, it might clarify something. I bought a car that hasn't been used for half a year and I had to drive it home, something like 170 miles away. Hand brakes worked, I me...

handbrake indicator always on.

2003 R/T. A handbrake indicator in dash is always on no matter if handbrake is on or off. I want to check the sensor, but don't know where is it. Any suggestions what to check?

Blinkers don't work, but hazard warning lights work.

Just bought Neon R/T 2003. Blinkers don't work, but hazard warning lights work, i.e. bulbs and wiring are OK. Multi-function switch is OK, checked it on another NEON LX. Found that 10A fuse No.1 in a fuse box was burnt, so I replaced it. It is responsible for blinkers and power mirrors. Power mirror...

I believe there is a design problem with neon's MFS. It looks like it is a common problem.
I described here http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 083e51a116 how I solved mine for $0.

...Funny how England uses a mixture of standard and metric. Speed is in mph, yet measuring fuel dispension and consumption is in metric. Here in the states, we are still using standard, but are slowly moving to metric. They're starting to teach the metric system in the schools. Most of the products...

Is rear fender a part of a body?

Is rear fender a part of a car body? Mine is damaged between rear door and wheel. So I can not just replace the whole fender like in front, right?

I'm sure I don't have a problem with temperature sensor and car really warms up quickly, but my way to work is about 1 mile, so I'm talking about 2-3 minutes drives.
P.S. Please don't ask why I'm driving instead of walking :) I'm getting too lazy

I bought a Neon with broken aerial mast and replaced it to a flexible rubber one. Need to machine just two components (simple turning). If anybody is interested, I can explain and post drawings here.

I have a 2002 Chrysler Neon LX (automatic), 70000 miles. My in-town mileage is about 15-16L per 100km (15 miles per american gallon), but normal 9L per 100km (26-27 MPG) on a highway. I don't experience any problems with my engine, like starting or warning codes. But my in-town driving style is awfu...
