I'd probably go with a mid-length or shorty header just to keep things simple.

Does anyone even make/sell 2GN throttle bodies anymore?

What about using a SRT4 intake manifold and throttle body? Bad design for a N/A car?

But I've got everything else pretty much right on?

I was thinking a set of used Crane #12's would be good for a daily driver.

2.4 2002 ACR questions!

So, while I'm waiting/hoping that some day the current owner of my 95 ACR coupe will sell it, I've decided to do a daily driver project car. Please, keep in mind this will be a daily driver. Nothing radical or crazy. I plan on picking up a 2.4 in a junkyard and dropping it into a 2002 ACR I'm lookin...

Does anyone still come here?

Just wondering before I post a question/thread in the Motor Swap forum.

Thinking of picking up a 2002 Red ACR and swapping in a 2.4 for a daily driver. No SRT swap, curious on mounts on wiring.

I'm not defending Howell Auto at all, but:

If SCT can make a tuner that can flash/work-with/tune most all the NGC computers and have them stay the way they're tuned, what makes you think Howell can't other than a bias against them?

New Ride!

Thanks for all the help and fellowship I've received on 2gn.org. I'll still be around lurking from time to time, and I still have a few small items to get rid of from my R/T, but I've moved on to something a little bit bigger, and a bit more powerful. Sold my neon (actually traded it in) about 3 Sat...

JOE! I just remembered something!!! I have an old DOHC block from my 95 ACR that needs a complete rebuild, the pistons/rods are gone, I gave them to a friend for his SOHC build up. It needs a new crank, but I'm assuming you've got a good one in your current block. If you'd want to meet in White Mars...

I'd talk to the machine shop about it. I've dropped/thrown blocks out the back of a pickup before and never broke one.

Good luck.
