Re: Charms Project Log
Wow poor car. Very nice you are turning it into a better condition ride. I am not sure I would want to invest that much into it seeing all that rust everywhere. I would check your front brakes to see how much they are wearing since you have no rear brakes at all Yeah, that's exactly what I was thin...

Re: Charms Project Log
It's crazy to think someone deleted the rear brakes [emoji23]. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk Should have just left the drums off, to save weight.... Probably will need new ones, I'm betting the surface is rusted to hell. Not many places turn them anymore. Or just search for a rear disc se...

Re: Charms Project Log
lol, I drove it home and have been driving it every day... Only realized it until I took it apart yesterday. I don't know, going to replace the bearing/hub assembly next week when I borrow the proper size socket from my cousin and then go from there.. Might keep an eye out for another Neon, but I mi...

Re: Charms Project Log
So, went to replace my rear passenger wheel bearing but had to put everything back together before taking the old off since I realized that I don't have a big enough socket to take off the nut holding it in. But, I did notice that there seems to be a little couple of things missing... #-o http://old...

Yeah, I'll probably swing by the wrecking yard and ask my buddy if I could scramble through whichever Chrysler vehicles he has there  Never hurts to have a friend who has their own yard. Might see if he has any Neons out there while I'm at it to grab the radio trim because I wanna look at doing...

Re: What is this connector for?
Knew it would have to run up the A Pillar since that's how I ran the custom wires for the mirror I have in my Neon right now lol. (Speaking of which... I currently need to look at getting a replacement pillar or just the clips since the upper clip on the drivers side snapped off when I took the dash...

Re: Help me to pick a new car
I know that a couple years ago I took a 2016 Passat for a test drive and it was one of the best rides I have personally experienced. Personally, if I were to go for a newer vehicle, it would be a Standard Diesel Passat. I have heard some nice things about Infiniti, though... And, from my experience,...

Re: What is this connector for?
Well, I guess I'll be on the lookout for that mirror
That works, though... Since the Rearview I have in there that came from an older Monte Carlo (I believe) is having some wiring issues inside of it, so I can't really use the lights that are in it.

Still a really beautiful looking Dodge, though! Got an '02 Chrysler Neon myself, but I think I'll grab some inspiration from your SRT. (I love the good ol' Chrysler emblem on the front instead of Dodge  ) Now to look through the rest of the pages... Shame to have some of the progress posted los...

So, today I had my Dash apart as I was hooking up a hidden antenna (Which ended up being thrown in the trash) and I noticed this plug near the driver side tweeter. Anyone know what it is for? Just curious as I don't really like plugs just sitting around while not being used  http://oldbuggerz.n...

Re: Charms Project Log
This is true, which is why I'm going to look at ordering one for the rear and front off of RockAuto sometime in the next couple of months.
But, I do want to replace them both because my Neon has 350,000+Km on her and I don't know what work or maintenance has all been done by the prior owners.

Nice car. Any update, OP? Posting some pics would be great. Just updated the picture links (Had to completely wipe my website and start from fresh recently, so pictures are same as they were.) Honestly, I have kind of been neglecting my Peyton, but I'm going to get back into fixing her up. First th...

No permission to view some?
Not sure if anyone else has this, or if it is just because of my rank, but I noticed that a good amount of the Buy/Sell forums I do not have the required permissions for. Think it might just be me, but also don't want to inbox Diablo just in case this is a thing xP. If this is just because of my ran...

OOooO that looks nice in there! i really wanted to get one of those when my aftermarket radio died... hard to justify the same price of a really nice aftermarket one.. does yours do the Chrysler logo on startup? It does show the Chrysler logo since I put it in my Chrysler, if I understand things co...

So yesterday I finally looked into the wiring for the RB1 and, to my surprise, I already has the proper wiring so I shoved it in with great eagerness to get it going! Re: Fuel Level issues (Small)
With neons, the last half on the gauge always seems to drop faster. I know that, but it shouldn't be dropping from just under half to the point the fuel light comes on in a matter of a half hour or so, should it? I know about quicker drops with the last half tank as I experienced that with my Alero...

Re: Fuel Level issues (Small)
Curious, what is the evap code you're getting? Have to go off memory as it is now showing P1684 (Which I'm reading as PCM memory cleared since the last 50 ignition cycles), but, if I remember, the one that was showing up that read as an Evap Emissions control error was P0440.. Might have to fill it...

Fuel Level issues (Small)
Hey there, I have a quick question that I was wondering if any of you could help me with. So first, I have to keep my tank under half due to an evap error (According to the code), but that is okay with me for the time being.. What I am wondering about is an issue I have with the float(? - Don't exac...

Re: Random posting
Isn't that about the same thing with most other things nowadays? Nothing seems to really be made to last (Unlike they used to.. ).
Really downs me to have that knowledge about how things are made today compared to even 15 years ago.
