Got pics and lists ready for the part out. I need this money ASAP to cover my new car so don't feel bad to PM about parts before I get the thread up. This is old news now honestly, I'm trying to move on so I can skip feeling like shit about it anymore. Lets get these parts to good homes and back out...

I'm down for a meet but I'm too busy to handle all the planning myself at the moment. I can help and I'll do what I can though, anyone want to volunteer to get this going? It would be cool to do something in or around the Bay Area, we've never done that, and the distance from cencal and here in Sacr...

There are ways to test a PCM to determine if it's bad, it's definitely not a part I would just swap out and cross your fingers that it works. Too expensive, and once you flash and install it there's no returning it to the dealer. If you don't have the knowledge or resources to diagnose it properly, ...

I'm doing the same thing with my build. It's getting a cheap sth so when I'm ready it can be replaced with a turbo manifold. Misplaced some words up there^. Damn you autocorrect! You said short tubes are worthless in your last post, but you're buying one as well? Interesting. I don't understand why...

Yeah these guys are right, a big front sway bar is essentially just making you more work in the way of figuring out a way to reduce understeer, which is already an issue on nearly any FWD car. Contrary to popular belief, running huge sway bars is not always (or even usually) a good way to get a car ...

Slots, dimples, and drilled holes are all beneficial in cooling. They are also more expensive, sometimes introduce noise, and thru-drilled rotors have been known to crack under extreme use. I prefer dimpled to thru drilled for this reason, but that's just me. Beyond that, the effective differences a...

Front strut mounts are indeed common to make noise. Might be tough to narrow it down without pulling the strut assembly out though. If all the bushings, axles, ball joints check out, it's a good bet it's the mounts, especially at that mileage. When struts are replaced the mounts are typically reused...

Edit: Unless that was just an example, but it isn't going to help him much regardless. :D Yeah, just saying that the other bolt ons made less difference in my case, I realize he has an R/T 8) Regarding the 60mm TB issue, I have a couple theories on why it is hit and miss. Different PCM flashing/upd...

Welcome to 2gn  Building Neons to handle well is pretty simple. They take very well to suspension mods and can hang with faster cars in the corners with the right tuning and driver. They are very light for what they are, and have a solid independent suspension, both contribute largely to th...

The 60mm throttle body is kind of gamble it seems. Some NGC cars do fine, some throw TPS codes. Few have had issues with a cam swap, but then again not many NGC people go beyond a mild cam. I run a UDP, intake, header, lightened flywheel, and some light throttle body porting at the inlet, and have n...
